I was a bit frustrated at first because I was unable to get things to work as well as in your video. A few hiccups along the way but I discovered that a power cycle of the steam deck and it worked perfectly. I appreciate the assistance.

There? I'm not 100% sure. You may want to check protonDB or do a Reddit search and see if anybody's got to work around. There's a nagging voice in the back of my head that says multiplayer has anti-sheet and doesn't work on the steam deck but I'm not 100% sure.

i desperately need help. Proton tricks won't even work for me. I tried the other method admins that is also just a dead end. I'm retrying Proton Tricks however it gives me an error saying i need to write something in a terminal. Either that or it says i have to open the game for it to recognize it however that is hard to do without ubisoft at all. I have downloaded and redownloaded Ubisoft Connect multiple times and done the method through steam, and coming back to this through desperation cause it's just a dead end.

I believe that game has anti-cheat that is incompatible with Steam Deck. HOW you install it? Won't matter. You'll need Windows if this information is accurate.

Great guide. Know how to fix games saying they cannot connect to ubisoft servers in game? Happening in Trials Fusion. Tried every runner, none of them allow me to connect to server to save my progress.

Connect usually fixes that but there are situations when the game simply won't play due to server side incompatibilities running under Linux.

this worked great for many older ubisoft games! assassins creed 3 and odyssey work perfectly now, all except STEEP! thank you for the video and help, if anybody here knows about fixing steep server issues please comment or msg me! (i've tested that the server is up on my desktop, works fine on it, US east, tested minutes b4 trying and afterwards to confirm it's a steam deck issue.)

@@michaelwilson8565 The issue is that ProtonTricks doesn't have permission to access the SD card. The description has a follow up video that shows how to make ProtonTricks have access to the SD card. You shouldn't have to move anything.
