🥄 Full Moon Five Grain Rice Recipe Summary
📌 Ingredients (based on 200cc cups)
3 cups of glutinous rice
½ cup of non-glutinous rice
½ cup of red beans
½ cup of black beans
⅓ cup of millet
⅓ cup of sorghum
½ cup of sorghum
Tiger kidney beans (optional)
Chestnuts (4-6 pieces)
2 tbsp of sea salt
📌 How to make (formal version)
1. Wash the glutinous rice and non-glutinous rice thoroughly and soak them overnight.
Rub the sorghum thoroughly and soak it thoroughly (overnight).
Wash the millet and sorghum and strain it through a sieve.
Wash the beans and red beans thoroughly and prepare them.
2. Boil the red beans
Boil the red beans in water once and discard the first water.
Add water again and boil until the red beans do not burst. 3. First steaming (20 minutes)
Mix glutinous rice, non-glutinous rice, sorghum, and beans and place in a steamer.
Steam on high heat for 20 minutes.
4. Steaming & Second Steaming (30 minutes)
Transfer the steamed rice to a large bowl, add red beans and 1-2 tablespoons of sea salt and mix.
Pour the red bean water little by little and mix.
Place it in the steamer again and steam on high heat for 30 minutes more.
Mix it once or twice in between so that the top and bottom are cooked evenly.
5. Final steaming (25-30 minutes)
Add chestnuts and millet and mix well.
Place it in the steamer again and steam for 25-30 minutes more.
Let it steam for 5 minutes lastly.

Spread it in a large bowl to cool, cover it with a cloth, and eat it all day long!
