Hi Lisa, that fruit cake sure looks yummy and moist.😋Thanks for sharing your recipe. Going to try it tomorrow.👌🏼Is that a 10cm or 7.5cm height baking tin you're using? Also,do you wait till e fruit and caramel mix is totally cooled before you add in the flour?

Hi lin, Thank you :). Its a 7cm height. Let the fruit mix cool down before adding flour :)

I baked it a lot for my mom. Try 300 degrees F for 2 hours 30 minutes covered. Then uncovered the last hour.

Hi Roslinah Yes my steamed cake is for 6 by 6 inch. And if you wanted to use an 8 inch, multiply all ingredients by 1.8. Eggs can be tricky, I used jumbo Australian egg which is approximately 52g. So mathematically you will need 3.6 eggs (52 x 2 eggs x1.8 = 187.2g, round up to 190g). Best practise is to use 4 eggs, lightly whisk the egg and measure exact amount needed :) Hope this helps :D
