Born and raise in Baltimore Maryland we eat shrimp 34 times a week ever since I got my ninja foodie and saw this video I haven’t let any bar or (Crab House) steam my shrimp sense because I like my spicy. Thank you.

I made this last night for dinner. Amazing. Turned out perfect!!! we are from Maryland and big fans of Old Bay Seasoning. In Florida, they boil the shrimp which we think is pretty bland. So glad we found this recipe and found this KZbin site. Love your recipes, John.

I can definitely affirm that he is correct, before I did it with the open vent, I did it without and the shrimp came out not so great but with the vent open they are lovely. Yum! I’ve use a bit bigger shrimp (13/15) so I go about 10 minutes with the shell on

Used to live in PC many moons ago. Went to Jr and HS and GGCC. Heart is still broken over the devastation from Hurricane Michael. Sure miss the availability of the fantastic seafood there. Your shrimp looked great. Was wondering about steaming shrimp and crab legs etc so thanks for the great video!

I have another seafood video that I will post soon but yes... I'm positive it would do a fantastic job on crab legs..thank you for watching and I was very surprised to see the amount of damage STILL evident and several business's still closed such as Spinnakers, I had no idea it did that much damage...but thanks again and please come back

I’ll be moving to Orange Beach this summer, and I LOVE Royal Red shrimp! But from what I’ve read, cooking times should be halved for Royal Reds as they’re more delicate that brown, pink or white shrimp. I guess it’ll take some experimentation, but I can’t wait! In the meantime, I’m gonna run down to Publix, pick up some shrimp, and try your method. I enjoyed your video, good job!

I have never heard of using beer for the liquid. We always used water and vinegar and Old Bay. Have we been doing it wrong using vinegar? Do you have a printed recipe to print anywhere? I want to do this tonight.

Hi there! This is the second time I’ve cooked shrimp in the pressure cooker but this time the steam is extremely loud and takes for ever to start counting down the time of 8 mins. Have you had this problem before? The steam release is so loud it scares my dog. Suggestions? Thanks
