I just had this last night for the first time at a dim sum restaurant. Now I will know how to make it. I agree with you that you need the rice with it. I too love gravy on rice. Love your videos Lenora.

Thank you for another awesome video. My question is, do you just add hot water and cover for the cooking time without heating the stove?
@HawaiisPickleLady2 жыл бұрын
You must bring the water to boil when using the steamer or wok. Then put in the dish or ribs. Cover and start timing.

Thank you for a great video again. Question, you add hot water and just cover it for the cooking time without turning on the hot plate?

Does it have to be mandarin orange peels?

No, you can use tangerine too.

Please be careful with that bag of dried mandarin orange peels. You contaminated them and the ziploc bag with the raw pork from the gloves. I’m going to cook this delicious dish for my mom. Thank you.

Aunty, do you know how to make those Japanese senbi crackers? ISHIHARAYA is closing next month, those are the ones that makes the assorted senbi cookies and are sold buy the buckets during the holiday's. I along with a lot of locals would love to make them, especially now that "ISHIHARAYA" is closing. Please help in finding recipes and showing us how to make those wonderful SENBI CRACKERS!!

I saw that the store is closing too. I love their ginger cookies and bought a bunch when I went home. So sad many mom and pop stores are closing. Will try to research and see if I can come up close to it. Unfortunately, not many recipes are shared. The Chinese in particular are very secretive in making their goodies, won't even let you peek in their kitchens.

@@HawaiisPickleLady me too! I love the ginger one especially! If I had a business recipe and I was closing, I would sell my recipe book so that the legacy can live on for generations!
