I have watched a lot of steaming tutorial videos here on yt and other apps but you’re the only one who’s very specific on how much hissing sound we should make. This is super helpful especially to those who can’t figure out how much foam goes to which coffee. God bless you and more power to your channel.

Awesome, thanks! I have a cheap machine and the power of the wand is nowhere close to yours and it's very short too. What's the best timing for stretching? I noticed when I stretch for about 20secs the results are ok but the milk is not hot so the coffee is nowhere close to being hot. When I stretch for 30secs the heat of the milk is good but almost just hot milk with very little to no microform. Is my only hope a new expensive machine?

Please i need a little help from you :D I am trying to make a cappuccino in a home espresso machine where the steaming is not so powerful, but it still has classic steam wand with one hole. For example i can do latte art if i steam the milk for latte, that's no problem, but when i try to froth milk for cappuccino, with little higher foam and when i want to pour the milk in the cup, the first drop of the milk i can see is too heavy and because of that the milk covers my coffee entirely with white paint shinny foam and there is no way to make the foam go down to the coffee. Why is that, what am i doing wrong? Can you make some demonstration about the right and wrong with making cappuccino for latte art? :D

foam in coffee is annoying bad, creates a layer of air and does not add any value to the drink why do people destroys what could have been a good cup of coffee ? I always scoop up and throw the foam if i have to order that coffee drink. the same applies to bubbles in beers that stupid think layer on top of every pint or glass

A flat white should be just that…flat crema only and the steaming time should be the same to bring the milk up to temperature for all styles…I never bothered watching the froth levels she put on what she would call latte and capp as she lost me on the flate white that was actually a latte.

@@haelibo hello, my wife and I have been in the coffee industry for 20+ years and always focus / train traditional styles meaning you prep the style the customer orders based on traditional. We are on the Central Coast of NSW and are actually affiliated with a coffee roaster in Melbourne. What we are seeing now days is the amalgamation of coffee art and barista, they are not the same, they are totally different. I actually set equipment, volumes…grind and grinder dose and that is part of barista which very few self proclaimed baristas know how to do. Without boring you too much what annoys me is the fact that I always hear how baristas should adjust the grind each day which is total nonsense. If the day is humid and you are using a manual / flick lever grinder and you are auto filling the ground chamber moisture from steam from the kitchen or moisture in the air can be absorbed by the ground coffee so if your shot is running too slow or just dripping you do not automatically adjust the grind…you start again and DO NOT tamp, load it and the screen will tamp it for you and 9 out of 10 times it will pour as per usual. You will find this will mainly occur on the small handle only. Their are many crazy ideas within this industry but unfortunately only a small proportion of the authors actual know what they are talking about. I learnt from actual technicians that do commercial coffee equipment only servicing and have done for many years hence I do know what I am talking about. Take care and be always mindful of Covid where ever you are. Cheers Greg.
