Bunny, I just wanted to say that i’ve been using my bellami x grav3yardgirl set including the straightener for years now & i’m still obsessed! It never pulls my hair and I appreciate that. i love you sm! ❤️ Also, my hair is so thick and curly that i do have to take small sections to straighten it. lol

I have a SteamPod since July 2021 and I love it so much. I don't use it for waves, only for straightening. It makes my hair so nice, straight and soft. The result lasts much longer than with normal straightening irons. My hairdresser recommended it to me and I don't regret buying it.

As a cosmetology student use heat protectant and you won’t be doing damage with heat! If you’re a forgetter use a leave in cream with heat protectant after you shower, it will be protecting your hair until the next wash out! And leave in cream will help you with brushing it out and give you some manageability. Okay

How does it work? I always thought it was a product that didn’t really work but they sold it anyway. But if it actually works I’ll use it. I barely ever use heat on my hair so I don’t have anything to compare it to.

Hi Bunny pretty sure you are aware of this but just in case. The water you use should be calcium and mineral free to prevent build up and then getting white powder in your hair, filtered water would be the best. The same when you use a steam clothes iron, applies to hair. Love your show and you.

My friend is a hairdresser and she’s been using the steampod on me for about 10 years now and I love it. It makes my hair look healthier than with a straightener and my hair feels softer aswell, and a bonus it always lasts longer even when it’s humid or drizzling outside. My friend had the steampod 1 and then the 2 aswell. And I can tell you they did have waaaay more steam coming out of both the 1 and 2. But the one you’re using seems like nothing is coming out. It’s weird because the steam is the whole point. It’s what makes the follicles in the hair close up and trap the humidity. So I don’t understand why they would remove the steam on this one. It’s called a steampod for gods sake! Lol!

Hey Buns!!! I’m a hairdresser and I would definitely recommend investing in a good quality heat protectant before putting heat on your hair!!! You’ll notice such a big difference and it protects from heat from blow dryers, straighteners, crimpers, and environmental heat and humidity!! Much love I’ve watched you for ever and love you so much I’m so glad your taking care of your hair more and trying to keep it healthy!! ❤️‍🔥

Personally I thought the same until I made the purchase, I have natural curls and it’s the best thing I have found for me. It’s super durable and doesn’t make your hair all frizzy when it’s humid out. It’s a little pricey but it’s totally worth if you’ve got curls :) btw I have the white one which is the collab with L’Oréal so it’s a little different but it works like magic and it’s SUPER durable so definitely would recommend the L’Oréal collaboration instead of this Barbie thing hahah

I think the issue is because you have natural hair texture and the straightener is streaming your hair, your hair is still moderately wet (even if it's just inside the cuticle) so, I noticed your hair wave was back for the most part at the end of the video, if I get my curly hair wet it will 100% go back to being curly.

Idk by concept tho wouldn’t putting steam on the hair (essentially tiny water droplets) be more damaging? It’s aways said to not straighten wet or damp hair so putting water n then straightening it wouldn’t tht be similar? The tiny water droplets on the hair left by the steam would boil n evaporate as the hot plates pass over the hair no?

This honestly sounds like the set to wet hair straightener when you’re going over your hair and hearing that “Darth Vador” noise. That straightener streamed your hair straight and dry after you showered.

Lol anyone else remember the wet to dry straightener. It was my best friend in highschool (next to the crunchy scrunched hair and straightened bangs, of course 😳) 🤣

Hey Bunny! I have a suggestion for another cool hair tool you could try, it's compared to the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. It's called the IQ Gamma Perfetto, it's super light weight and pretty cool looking. It's missing the fun magnets of Dyson but I think it looks pretty promising. Just thought I might suggest it :)

Way back when I was like 12 I got straighteners for my birthday and you'd to fill them with water. They used steam to straighten your hair like an iron 😅 my brother bought me them lol normal straighteners where a thing at the time.

It is less damaging than any other curler because aalthough steam is the product of boiling waterc (100 celsius) it is ain the end still water only in a different state of matter. It will both open the hair cuticle a bit, deposit water inside hyrrating it, then the actual heat from the iron wiil seal in that hydration and smoothing the edges

I'm the weirdo that takes small sections. It lasts longer, it's less damaging, and it overall straightens better and faster. I'm also a professional so 🤷 I'm biased.

It's not weird It's the proper way to straighten. I always thought grabbing random chunks was weird.

To be completely fair , this type of reviews are better on people with thicker hair. Your hair is thin and semi straight any straightener would probably work amazing on your hair. One pass was more than enough.
