13:57 There’s Canadian Pacific 2816 sitting on outdoor display 6 years before returning to operation over in 2001. I got to see this steam locomotive in operation back 3 days ago on April 24th 2024.

@atsfevan02424 жыл бұрын
As of 2020 only 261, 425 and 26 are operational, 142 is under a rebuild, 3254 is sadly retired and will most likely never run again and 2317 is awaiting rebuild work which will begin after 3713 is complete in a few years.

It was blue at the time, just a very dark blue. Her current headlight isn't centred either, but an above centre one, centred on the numberplate, rather than the light bulb in the headlight.

I love this video because I kept hearing from my dads friends and him that the original collection was well taken care of, all engines where restored, and compared today in 2017 that Steantown really neglected the originals collection. I can see now it's definitely true. While progress was made at there itself, the locomotive and cars left outside have taken a bad turn. It's heartbreaking to see so many that had been looked after then and now look horrible. I also understand without volunteers passion and love of many man hours put into restoring engines they have, more would fall victim to economic coast of maintaining these beautiful trains.
