This is a comparison of greaseless closing kits against OEM and an aftermarket heavy duty steel bushing kit. Both were put on the drills at the same time.
Most of the production of my vids are a one-man show, as you can tell, but I hope this gives farmers a decent bit of information to help them make a choice in the future. All in all this is pretty consistent of what's happening in the industry. John Deere's pro series has Garmax bushings, showing how much more efficient these bushings have become. In my opinion, if it wasn't for the aftermarket using these, John Deere would probably be happy to still use steel bushings since they wear out faster, which would help pad their pockets.
