Thanks Bill, I agree but I like to throw a couple of tips in them for more advanced shooter's as well. Ill be releasing videos on each stage on Sunday nights over the next few weeks. I've already created 4 of them including this one. Hope you enjoy! See you at the range, Terry

One thing that could also help is working the 4 5 stop into a single swift motion so you don’t have to stop on the 5th plate. Aaaaand you might be faster if you limit your motion so you only have to change directions once. Changing directions is time. Great video!

Hi Kenny N, thanks for the tips! I agree that directional changes are slower in general but I shoot Pendulum faster shooting 2, 1, 5, 4, Stop. It goes against everything I believe but my times are faster! Go figure! Keep in mind that the video was made for newer shooters. In my experience starting simple is the best way to go until a shooter's skills develop. Sounds like you know a thing or two about steel challenge! Glad you stopped by! Maybe we'll bump in to each other at a match. Thanks and Happy New Year! Terry

@@TwoGunTerry yes you’re right, it’s preference and depends on a shooter’s skill. But I Hope to see you at worlds then!

This new way really worked for me! I stopped missing the 10” plates and moved up to A class first time with the 2-1-5-4-S method. Now aiming for for M class in this stage. Thanks for tip TG👍👍👍👍. Wish there was a strategy for Speed Option that works so well, so close to A class and M seems impossible. BTW the “smooth” technique really works, you should do a video on how to achieve it.

Great work! It's a short jump from A class to Master class. You'll be there in no time if youre not there already!!!

What stock are you running on that gun?

Not to be picky, but for production division, you wouldn't have the safety on like is stated at around 2:46. I wish this was the case, because then I wouldn't have to manually decock my CZ Shadow 2 at the beginning of each string, like I do for production division USPSA and steel challenge. This is also true for carry optics.

Hello Terry, could you please do an advanced shooting style on Pendulum? We are a new SCSA club in South Africa 🇿🇦, thx
@TwoGunTerry2 жыл бұрын
Hello Jorncy, Im thrilled to hear you are creating a new SCSA club in South Africa! Im training in a few days with several buddies. I'll bring my cameras and see if we can come up with something useful for you. Do you have any specific questions? What I can tell you is that you must not fear Pendulum. You have to love it! I tell myself that it's my favorite stage whenever it's my turn to shoot Pendulum! Like anything else, don't be defeated before you even start. See your sights with every shot and shoot smoothly. My pleasure to help, Terry
