The only reason his arm “seemed wild” was because Snyder’s offense was designed to throw passes downfield. Plus Bishop was playing against strong defenses almost every week in the Big XII. And he still finished 2nd in the Heisman Trophy. Remarkable really when you think about it. If he had played in a Mike Leach style of offense Bishop could have definitely completed about 70% of his passes. 22-3 in his time at K-State.

That was our first time beating Colorado in many years. Coach Mike stoops called a on sidekick in the middle of the game because we were so confident we were going to beat Colorado.. I was glad to play in Manhattan; because playing up in Boulder was some of the coldest weather EVER!😮

K-state beat Colorado the year before, in 1997. And this game was in Boulder, not Manhattan.

@@bigtechisbigbrother8690 That's true, that is the first time we beat Colorado. I forgot about that game. The next year we beat the crap out of my home. Mike Steve said I was doing on side kick even though we were up in the game...lol. give me the number one ranked defense at the time.
