It's continually entertaining to read comments where fans only know and experienced the "Tomlin years" yet insist the Steelers would be better off without him. The NFL isn't a lottery scratch ticket... there's very little instant gratification. And people today seem to only want what makes them feel satisfaction right flippin now. Extending Tomlin was an intelligent move. The team is transitioning with a new offensive coordinator this year and players have stated they came to play in Pittsburgh because they want to play under Tomlin. 53 men on the roster and all they do is Tomlin's fault would be a great podcast topic for the people complaining about the Steelers coaching.

All on board unless one of those new offense guru’s. Now I use to be a big Tomlin hater then I learned more about Steeler team dynamics. For example is OC hirings but I’ve learned some HC don’t have any say he might but idk. Also positions coaches seemed even worse than below avg. I changed my mind when I found out good coaches don’t wanna come to pix cause cheap pay, also always have the least amount of coaches. When we do get great coaches they won’t promote or raise salary can’t rem name right now but I heard everyone in the NFL say he was the best OL coach. My big problem is and same for Cower power is the lack of game planning and adjustments,”predictable offense, coaching for dummies” then hear them say we do what we do. Also same as Cower always play down to competition.

it tells me we are going to get a deal done with JF, and this is tomlins project, to develop him into a winner.. if he fails they are both gone unfortunately, but this almost guarantees JF will stay and have a stable environment

How do we know the Jets look good? Rodgers left Green Bay and they went right into the playoffs. I'm not convinced Robert Saleh is a good coach either - yet. If he struggles this year, no doubt he's gone. - Joe

Listening to you describe your differentiation of PIT vs "mediocre" others... I applaud your resilience. But; back to brass tacks.... I cannot keep thinking Ben this & that.. I saw a winner (#2) & the franchise opted else wise.. When a franchise does that.... Well -I see rip van winkle time coming. I just see ZERO excuse for this QB swap out.. Mason Rudolph survived the '22 Preseason end around; WAITED all season to get his opportunity to SHINE out... HE does SO & this franchise SHIT down his throat AGAIN... If you've followed the show for a while, I was campaigning for Flores to be Tomlin's replacement. Who's to say that won't happen still? He's only a coordinator, not a head coach elsewhere, and can be poached if need be. - Joe

@thechocolatewriter8680 reality is the guy hasn't even won one playoff game in 8 years. Longest streak in the history of the steelers. That's reality they play those games to get to the superbowl that's everyone's goal. It matters or don't bother playing the games. Maybe not keep score for tomlin.
