This is a luxury decision on Broderick. He’s hurt, he’s not playing well, and he’s out of position. Due it to fact that they have Troy, who they are very confident in, and Moore playing well and maybe, just maybe, has flipped the switch, they can take this approach. It’s not startling and it’s a pick any coach would make if they had the luxury of doing so… Broderick can rest, learn, and grow his ability. I also think the injury is forcing him into bad habits that will continue to propagate if he doesn’t get a chance to reset… I’d love to see him get a rip at LT this game but this seems like the best move…

If Russell can play next week. And Steelers win this weekend. But Justin has the same game as game one. Do you consider trading Justin to the Dolphins for a 4th or 5th round pick? It looks like Steelers don’t want Fields long term. Might as well get something for him. Fields and Mike McDaniel have a good relationship. Might as well kick the tires for one season.

Dan Moore had one good game against a bad Falcons team. So all of sudden he his this stud franchise left tackle. Give me a break. He was one of the worst left tackles in football last season facts! Jones has been shafted by Tomlin and this coaching staff. He was not even practicing at LT during training camp. He even told reports that he had know idea where he would play. Moore was never forced to play RT like Jones. He has been babied and given every opportunity to be the staring LT. In addition he is in his last year of his contract. Omar Khan has not even mentioned resigning him. So make it make since that you sit your potential franchise left tackle, that has taken little to no reps at his natural position, told to learn another position, then when he doesn't master that new position he gets benched for the other top draft pick whom never has played one down in a real NFL game. Yet fans are to believe this coach is doing a great job of managing Jones. Yeah right. Keven Dotson prime example of not knowing what you have and forcing a round peg into a square hole. Did you see Dotson staring on the Rams against the Loins? Stud out there but he could barley crack the staring line up with the Steelers. Why is that? Average coach looking to only to make sure he doesn't have a losing season. 9-7 8-8 rinse and repeat!

Wild take. The guy has been playing at a different position and hasn’t even started 17 games yet in his career. Many guys can’t transition between sides on the line. Why do you think Dan Moore has never been on the right even when Broderick was playing like the best lineman on the team? It’s because he can’t and Tomlin said as much last year
