Great information. You're right on point. Kenny is not seeing the entire field and will bail out of the pocket too quick. How can you not recognize the defense in Cover 1 or man and take a shot to GP or DJ. I just think he's a true check down QB until he's forced to throw down field because we're behind.

The Steeler's need to start looking for a more capable backup to challenge KP in camp. Mitch is not the answer. This cannot continue, I don't know what Mike Sullivan is doing, but as QB coach he needs to get his head out of his a** and coach KP up. If he's not coachable then he's gotta go.

Think of it from a defensive coordinators eye's Connor is really my only threat in the middle, and with Canada's route concepts it's made to spread the defenders horizontally.... It's stupid, because you limit your talent because that's how his scheme implements the run. But as a defender I know they want to send Pickens deep, dionte a out route or stop route. How many times have we seen a cb jump the out route. It's hard to really play when the D knows your tendencies and it ain't a lot of them

3:49 you have to do better with your analysis. The hot route is Robinson on this play running a slant quick out combo. He freezes 59 (ILB) with his initial look towards the middle of the field preventing him from breaking on the pass. In Kenny’s vision, he’s expecting to have two wr’s to target left of the hash. He’s not looking down his wr on this play. It’s designed to go to Robinson or to take a shot at Johnson based on the coverage. Kenny throws the ball away because the play is busted. Bravo Kenny on not forcing up some trash like Mitch would’ve done.

Great video. A bit depressing, but it helps to understand he was absolutely not a first round talent. Tomlin panicked and talked himself into this. Just cannot wrap my head around why doesn't stink then too lol.

My thoughts are defenses that play prevent will lose the games and that what defenses were doing down the end. They were trying to protect a lead. I was of the mindset of during the offseason, Kenny should get with a veteran quarterback and just study film. Whatever new offensive coordinator they get, just study and work on reading defenses. It's frustrating as heck to see other younger quarterbacks get it quicker but for the sake of Kenny's future with the Steelers, he should do some major offseason homework. Also the Steelers should invest in another quarterback....just in case.

Kenny is one of the worst rated starting quarterbacks in the league not much is good about his game. Leaves the pocket to soon is slow to process plays. Kenny is plain bad he can’t get the ball off fast with zip and accuracy. Can’t read plays and holds the ball to long on plays. Watch his wide stance and first read if that play is not there he is lost. Then by that time he sees a secondary receiver resets and sees token pressure he can’t throw off platform. He is limited with what he can do with his arm. Setting up and throwing fast would suit him better. First read throw and live with it. Look the quarterback needy teams in the top of the draft passed on him because he does not have a high ceiling after twenty games he is what he is. What if Kenny played for a bad team and was down points in every game and was throwing forty times a game he would not be starting that team would not have any points. What if he was not getting the time to look and stare down a receiver he is getting 2.7 or better. Teams want the ball gone in 2.4.
