Media pundits were saying the Steelers have the easiest path to the division title due to the backup quarterbacks they will be facing. Kenny Pickett is a backup quarterback.

It was great seeing DTR's teammates embrace him as the starting quarterback, and he rewarded them with a victory. The kid has guts and showed poise on the winning drive. It should be an interesting week getting ready for the Broncos. Getting a third quarterback this week probably a experienced veteran.

I know that Tomlin is a great coach, but I'd have to think that at some point that locker room is going to revolt against Pickett no matter what Tomlin says to them. Pickett is pure doodoo butter. This Steelers team reminds me a lot of their 2020 team where they started the season like 10-0 despite EVERYONE being able to see that they were actually a terrible team. I'd say that this team has a better defense than that one did, but Pickett ain't no Roethlisberger...not even that 2020 noodle-armed version of Roethlisberger.

This is a side Bruin fans have never seen of DTR with his being lachrymose. In college he has always been outgoing if not necessarily overly jubilant in victory at UCLA. His squatting as the kick went through, was undoubtedly him giving praise to the Creator, but to see his face after he'd been shedding tears is so different. I'd say that he knows too now that the NFL is going to a grind, but hopefully with that first pass of the last drive, he'll take more shots downfield. Just keep safeguarding against those ints, DTR, and we're with you!

Both teams have glaring problems that need to be addressed. Neither could get anything going on offense which won’t cut it against the tougher afc teams.
