He wants the best for the Steelers, which is nice to know since he could have been understandingly bitter to the org for not signing him back for as long as he wanted to play. @@airheart1 it feels weird to say…but I’m kinda glad we didn’t win after playing that horribly. Tomlin has been bailed out by crazy good, well timed defense for half a decade. SOMETHING has to change, and Tomlin has made crystal clear he thinks if he closes his eyes tight enough and says enough riddles that the NFL will magically revert to 2002. It won’t. And he REFUSES to do anything to have a viable offense. Nothing. Nada. 0. We have the SAME issues we’ve had since the Killer B’s era ended: abysmal, almost miraculously bad line play, no attempt at a passing game, running backs who can’t make guys miss bc Tomlin wants a 1930s slow running back, WRs who either can’t get space and stay quiet, or can’t get space and throw tantrums like a spoiled 3 year old who dropped his ice cream cone, and a zone defense that was outdated in 2012 and hasn’t changed since then….

@@Helden_Daddy Hey; I agree with most of what your saying. But referencing this mess to the killer b area.... we can only wish we remotely look like that. This hot garbage reminds me of 1980. Pure trash. They ran the ball on 3rd and 8 for god sake and settled for a FG. They score there; that's an extra 4. We lost by 3. It's all hypothetical. But this man has dragged this team into the abyss. They can very well be 0 and 5. They can very well be 5 and 0. But with this style of play. This team doesn't show up to win games. I've been following football for 5 1/2 decades. And this year stand's out to me because of the number of questionable calls! And if the NFL does not address the proficiency of the ref's, it may bring more uncomfortable questions that they will have to address. Thank you guys for the great show.

Honestly this is on Tomlin. The defense doesn’t play aggressive anymore. We literally blitz half as much as the last 2 years. Also we have a new OC who was supposed to be an upgrade yet even thought the plays may be different it’s the same concept ( run, run, pass to the outside). The only time the offense has looked different is when it seems we need to score and are down. The Steelers moved the ball with ease in the no huddle yet we never saw it again. To me it seems the guy who says don’t live in your fears is actually living in them and refuses to allow any aggressiveness cause it may turn out negative.

Steelers have given Justin Fields the cheapest lowest paid WR room in the NFL and perhaps lowest paid WR room in NFL in the last decade. Each receiver is making around $1M but Steelers are wondering why the offense isn’t putting up points. The production matched the talent they set up Justin Fields with. Steelers would never give Ben a WR2 who had only 209 yards receiving and 1 touchdown for the entire year! That production is pathetic. Calvin Austin is a small gadget player. Calvin isn’t a WR3. Steelers Brandon Aiyuk trade was a Hoax. They knew Brandon wasn’t coming to Pittsburgh. Steelers were not paying him $30M!! Steelers should have resigned Juju Smith Schuster who blocks and catches.

Yeah and then the only wide receiver we do actually have is acting like a toddler. And then they bench him for half the game. I cannot believe when I looked on the field and saw van Jefferson was the only wide receiver at one point. What a joke. We spend millions of dollars on our defense we have the highest paid defense in NFL history. Yet, we get QBs on the cheap that nobody wants. And no wide receivers. And then everyone's curious as to why we can't put up numbers on the offense. Come on now.

Stop it with the Justin Field's excuses. He aint moving the ball enough past two games and tbh I feel defense won first 3 games. Give me an old Russ over this young and inexperienced fumble prone qb any day. Not accurate consistently enough. He alright. Still just a step or two above what we had last year. Arthur isn't going to open playbook up with JF until he can show ability to be good consistently in the pass game. He is not so we run a conservative game on offense. We fan pick on coaching but you gotta scheme for your ability and there is a reason he playcalling conservative and JF is the reason.

Y’all can talk about the WRs but it’s Fields, we moved the ball better last year , there was actually a Picken highlight reel .. everyone’s just fooled by the big play potential which is only used to dig himself out of a hole in the 4th. Why does he turn it on for 2-3 drives a game when the games on the line.. spread it out through all 4 quarters and it’s a win.

Cowboys loss was on Arthur Smith. He continued to play conservative when the team had a chance to open things up

Tomlin should hire Ben as a consultant.

1:03:58 EXACTLY. I swear Ben needs to be on the coaching staff. Where are the screens? I only seen it once in this game and prob 2 times in the last 4 games. Cal or Scotty or Muth can get easy yards that way. Look at how the Ravens use Flowers on screens. He’s getting 10 yards easy everytime. in The play calling is repetitive and predictable running through Najee rn. Art and/or Tomlin is acting like theyre too scared to call non play action pass plays.

This loss could be really good for us or really bad. We need a spark or someone to step up and take leadership.

@@scuba5711 the “loss to spark a run” was last week. This was the answer to that….absolutely NOTHING.

I think the problem about not throwing the ball is that we don't really have anyone to throw it too. And I'm talking about wide receivers. I mean George Pickens was out for half of the game. And aside from him, even though he's been playing terribly lately, we really only have a rotating group of WR3s. So, when we really only have one wide receiver in the room that really isn't producing anyways and then you basically bench him.. obviously we're not throwing the ball. My question would next be why in the heck are we not getting our tight ends more involved we just gave Pat a four-year deal and a boatload of money yet we're not using him? Also, you can't tell me that washington, who cannot be tackled almost, is not going to be able to get you 7-8 yards or more....if you get the ball in his hands.
