Don't give up! Steelhead bite pretty well if they're around. You're a young guy with wheels, right? Fish a lot of different places and use a method you know works. Like a spinner or a spoon. Keep moving. Good luck! Bill

That water color looks a lot better than what I’ve seen on the Russian. I live in ukiah and everything down to Cloverdale is super cloudy.

I was up near Cloverdale this weekend and I noticed the clarity was worse up there. Not sure why that is.

dont be discouraged man its the russian... the fish count has been low for ever! i find alot of my success below heldsburg from nov-march been fishing this river for chrome last 6 years and only have a handfull of fish to show for it....try other rivers to like the american,eel,trinity,etc keep making the steelhead vids man! maybe see ya on river someday!

I knew from the start that the Russian was going to be tough. I'm just having a hard time because I haven't Caught any fish the past couple months. I won't give up on the Steelies.
