See for me the Arctis 1 Wireless is a no brainer compared to getting the 7/7p. I understand comfort is important but its not like the A1W are not comfortable at all, the 7p is just slightly more comfortable. This is a trade off I can deal with especially with the price difference. Then both have the same drivers so the sound is pretty identical which imo is the most important part of a headset/headphone. Okay so I know this is just a me thing but I don't care about the mic. I have desk mic and I would just use that. Lastly the price. In my neck of the woods the 7/7p costs $189 and the A1W costs $119. Its just not worth the extra $70 just for a small amount of extra features and similar performance. That is why I will always recommend the A1W over any headset in the $100-$200 range.

Thanks to you, I bought the headphones :) I'm so happy with them, best headphones I ever had! And it's not that costly compared to other main brands like Razer, Logitech. And I use them for gaming and just chilling, it does the work just right.

But I began to notice some issues: if I make sound at high I can hear high pitch static noise and when I set volume (on headphones) to very low I can hear only left side. At first when I connected headphones to computer footsteps weren't that loud, I had to go to "Sound Control Panel" (you can find that in "Windows Settings" then in "Enhancements" tab I had to enable "Loudness Equalization" and now I hear footsteps quite loudly. Overall I am not disappointed with headphones sound. Microphone quality is awesome (no static noise), words come out very loud and clear, although my friend's Arctis microphone is very low for some reason, he had to use 3rd party booster which added static noise. I don't recommend to use Arctis 1 while charging since left side heats up and that is not healthy for headphones itself. My rating 4 out of 5. Not the best but quite good

@@riickybandz remember that Arctis 1 needs an adapter, it does not connect with Bluetooth. Yes it is more stable, but if you will want to connect to phone, you have to disconnect the adapter or use aux cable (it's included in the box). And battery life I wouldn't say that it's amazing it holds for about 3 days with medium to high usage (3-8 hours per day).

Hard to extract much value out of your comments on comfort when you claim everything is "cosy". But that's obviously not your fault as everything must fit you well. However it might be worth going into more detail on comfort (ie Whether drivers are angled. Comparative clamp force. Whether the band is steel and can be stretched to reduce clamp, etc).

I just got these today and sadly, I think I’m going to return them. My ears actually touch the fabric covering the drivers and I just can’t stand that. The sound is pretty good. Very easy to plug and play and the software is an A+. The mic on the other hand is definitely passsable, but according to my friends, my Logitech g230 headset for $40 has a better mic. Although keep in mind my current g230’s are wired. Overall, great headset for the price, however because my ears touch the drivers, I have to pass. It really just depends how much your ears stick out and weather or not your bothered by it.

Just in case if anyone has this headset and you are having trouble pairing it to the PC or Mac ⬇️ ⬇️ Output is the speaker or Headset (where you hear from) and input is the microphone. Download SteelSeries engine on Windows 7 or higher or on Mac from a browser. Then when it’s done downloading and you have your headset. Go to the Steelseries engine and click on the Headset name, then when you see all the sound settings, click on the two arrows by the headset, and it shows “pair device”, click on it, then just pair the headset there, but make sure that your cables are connected correctly to the PC and the checkmarks should appear, then put “start pairing”. Hello. Does the led light turn on when you connect them to a charger? Because on mine theres no led light when the headset is off and charging.

eima187 I don’t think the led light turns on when charging but my led light only turns on for like 3 seconds before I go to charge it then it turns off👍

ah your still having the mic issue? did you adjust it in the SS engine on PC? BTW I absolutely love the easy wireless dongle on these, especially on the switch.
