@@primeanalogrecords no doubt about it - the music was hitting hitting you in the feels (in the best kind of way). I listened to mine (just disc 1) and it's pretty good. Not a traditional "Dan Fan", but it's definitely one of their better UHQR's

@@ConcertBuddie do you have any of the first pressings that you can compare? I found it quite interesting where Bernie was trying to outdo Bernie! After all he was the first mastering engineer on the first copies, AA 1006, and AB 1006. Honestly, it’s a pretty amazing comparison and he hit that UHQR out of the park.

@@primeanalogrecords I don't. I see older copies of the album pretty frequently, but since I'm not normally into the band, I hadn't picked one up. Probably will now at some point to compare to the UHQR 🙂

I own the UHQR Aja and I have experienced some distortion I the vocals when Fagen and the other vocalists are singing together. I’m using a Benz Ruby 3 cartridge. Have you heard this?

I haven’t experienced any of that! Matter-of-fact what I have heard is crystal clarity in the vocals, so I’m not sure what you’re listening to or if you have a problem with your cartridge! Like my friend, John and I were talking about we were actually quite skeptical abouthow great this recording could be, and we were both flabbergasted!
