Steep hidden trails - Taffs Well Quarry, North Cardiff Trails

Michael shows me more trails in Taffs Well Quarry woods and they are amazing. We took the left chute next to Manon Carpenter's slab drop to ride these trails but it was still a test for me, to try to get any speed up even though the conditions were prime for shredding.

Thanks appreciate you showing the way. Just sorted my headset, I think it might have been fitting it incorrectly as it is loose cage bearings and I needed to hold the underside of the frame up off the floor and remove the battery as the weight was causing the steerer to misalign before adding the compression to the star nut. Hopefully tomorrow it will remain stable throughout. How was Maenllywd?

Nice one. Not done the route by the side of the quarry in ages. Some interesting tracks I’ve not done before also - have to try them when healed up.
