Good video and you could use the power wire for the hi beams and put a two wire pigtail in place of the socket in your dash for the high beams, get a plastic/rubber style socket that you can trim if necessary, I just did that with a dome light that had the same type of wire strip broken also and you could redo your dash lights also that way if that strip that feeds them is junk also
