If this shock isnt new and you replace your inner n outer tie rods will this effect your alignment????? Or can you still do an alignment properly with out having to replace this shock

You can do an alignment without replacing the shock. Also, if your wheels are aligned and you only replace the shock (no tie rod replacement) then you don't need an alignment.

@@roughcutsgarage heeey whats up you saw my question !! damn thanks alot i was wondering about that im learning as i go watching videos bought this 1995 4runner and it needs couple of things here and there man keep up the good work helping people like me learning as u go… have you replace the oil pan gasket ? I dont know how to get to the nuts on the side where its closest to the tranny 😑

@@roughcutsgarage for sure yeah im actually here getting my 4runner aligned just put new inner n outer tie rods hopefully this fixes the fact that my truck sterring wheel vibrates when breaking i already replace my rotors and break pads..

@@DanielAlvarez-xl4qy If it doesn't fix it then it could also be your rear drums. I am having the same issue with my first gen dodge and a buddy of mine said try and get the drums looked at and possibly re-shaped on a lathe and that might fix the issue.

Whats the part numbers for the new bolt and nut you got for the other side

It doesn't have a specific part number as it's just a generic grade 8 bolt and nut. I took the old bolt to a hardware store and just picked up an identical size. I forgot to note the size in order to add it to the video.

Yo i just got my stabilizer shock today for my 1995 4runner i hope i feel the difference on my truck

Sick! Yeah we felt an immediate difference on ours. Feels stiff at first then I think we just got used to it.

@@DanielAlvarez-xl4qy Nope all good if you replace the pitman and or idler arms. no need for another alignment. I hope it fixes the problem!

@@roughcutsgarage I haven’t replace the pitman arm thats why im wondering if it would throw off the alignment but thanks hey any advice on how to take the nuts off from the oil pan the ones closes to the tranny? I have an oil pan leak??? Thanks!!

I was wondering if you dealt with fitment issues because of the cone shape of the bolt? I see online that some people are getting frame rub.

I have experienced a little bit of rub (very slight) when the wheel is all the way left but it was against one of the stoppers and it hasn't affected anything.
