@@alfaromeonoproblem deu me o c0051 e c1002 correspondente ao sensor torque mas li um pouco pelos foruns da fiat que poderia ser ligado a alguma ligação terra da bateria, pois acontece sempre na pre check nunca em andamento

I sussed that mine (which was a PITA and ended up with me buying a new battery, which made no difference) is really susceptible to tracking. I turned mine in to 0 degs by eye and checked that the threads on the rack were equalvis track rod ends, it was faultless for weeks. Never missed a beat. Since I had everything apart while repairing the gearbox it's gone back to being a PITA, so tomorrow I'll re-track it, and hopefully all will be well again. Fingers croseed...

And eventually it's given up altogether 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂ -it wouldn't stay "live" for more than a few minutes, so I bit the bullet and got a replacement unit from a company in Holland (I'm in Germany about an hour south of Luxemburg) Having checked the steering wheel it has no holes to remove the airbag, so it's odds on the steering unit is the origional, and a 200,000 Km lifespan is not something you can really grizzle about. And now - off out to do the deed...

Half time. Blue power plug was stuck solid bur I beat it in the end, and the 14mm pivot bolts are a cow. Other than that - so far, so good, except it's started to rain 🙄🙄

Hello. Did a few before, yes. Normally is an integrated sensor. The yaw sensor if I'm correct.

No I meant someone else was in there before you, because the screws are mixed and the plastic broken. A professional like you knows where all the screw go😊. Yaw sensor should be located under the seat of passenger or driver. @@alfaromeonoproblem

But eventualy I found a coupple of places in Germany, on eBay, that have Stabilus. So now I am waiting to see if it is the case for real or not. I hope I will get them.

Hi again. Im writing because i was in autobahn and while driving the steering wheel stopped working. ( on the dashboard i had the steering in red but when i turned off the car this icon dissappeared, now i dont have any lights anymore in the dashboard) fortunately, i managed to turn off the car and when i turned on the problem dissappeared. I fear that i have the same problem , i will go to a local garage on Saturday. But if i purchase a used steering coloumn how probably it might be that this problem might still occur in the future? So my question is: im gonna buy a used coloumn but how can I avoid purchasing a bad one? Thank you so much!!

Hello. Do not buy used ones, because they all will fail. Have it to be repaired, it's way better

@@BK-it6te I think there is a sensor in the top window rubber seal, and when glass presses on it, it tells the motor to stop. Maybe the sensor or the wire for it is broken. What do you mean by N/S?
