@DanMX2112
@DanMX2112 Жыл бұрын
Yes, but it’s a handful to deal with, and lining everything up is a major pain… it’s worth the extra time to pull the wheel and not damage or mess anything up. I’ve tried, I wont again lol

Great video, I’m doing this on my yz 125 and one of the bearings have a rounded lip on the bottom and a one has a sharper lip. Do you know which one goes where? I would think the rounded one would be on bottom to help with installation.

Hey, i got the same All Balls kit for my WR250R. Did you notice the bottom seal rubs up against the bottom race and causes drag? Seems like the seal is slightly too tall and causes more drag than it should.
@DanMX2112
@DanMX2112 Жыл бұрын
Mine didn’t, my bearings had no drag against the seals. I wonder if that design is intentional or not. I remember feeling my bearings spin free after the seals had been installed.
@rider147b
@rider147b Жыл бұрын
@@DanMX2112 thanks! Just to clarify the bearing spins freely with the seal installed on the lower triple, however, the bearing-race compresses the seal a bit more than it should and it's causing a bit of drag when installed. I noticed this before installing it. I stacked the seal, bearing and race, as if they were installed, and the race would compress the seal 1-2mm when pushing on the race (to simulate tightening the steering nut).
@DanMX2112
@DanMX2112 Жыл бұрын
Hmmm as long as your bearings are seated and everything installed in order I’m guessing that must be the design?

I have a 97 cr250 I have grease hanging out the bottom if I leave vent hose tucked inside what should I do
@DanMX2112
@DanMX2112 2 жыл бұрын
Probably time to repack or replace those steering stem bearing. Vent hose shouldn’t have gas coming out it either, which could cause the mess you see.
