A blow torch and bolt cutters get these off pretty quickly. No I do not boost cars, I had to get one off my own car once when I was a teenager.

Hacksaw blade cut the steering wheel, most cars get stolen to beat and crash . The least expensive way to lock a steering wheel is a piece of good chain looped around the column and steering wheel and a solid lock. Or a switch to disable the battery as in a hidden kill switch. Once you learn your fuses you can pull one w/o damage and same result. These are low buck for sure.

Will a battery disable switch “reset” the radio settings and all the electronics everything every time the battery is “off”? Thank you

Looks really awkward. Plus most thieves know how to pick a lock and i bet its a cheap one. I had the club years ago and the lock broke making it impossible to remove. Ended up having to call a locksmith.

Jeff, we know you’re trying to do 0:03 good here but before you start giving any credit to any anti theft protection this thing provides please go to “lock picking lawyer“ and you’ll see that this type of device is never attacked by trying to cut or saw the bar it was always by attacking the lock and all these locks no matter how nifty they may look they are ALL junk and with any skill can open this in 30 seconds. Anyone would just a hammer and screwdriver It might take them a minute.

No torch or curring wheel needed. Just cut the steering wheel and slide it off. Same that happened to wheel lock. But on side note I love your channel!
