I love this breakdown a lot!! Wouldn't call myself a 'stan' of the group but Clay's breakdown helped me appreciate the dance better. He's absolutely on point with the dance being so weird and playful yet it works so well!! Pretty iconic for a debut song if we're being honest.
@steezystudio6 ай бұрын
I honestly hope MORE routines go for this angle of weird and playful! But of course it's difficult to do because not all choreographers take such an original route like Renan and the others, and not all songs feel as... well, magnetic as this one 😅

Hey, STEEZY! Loved this video and how you guys broke up all the movements! I just had a suggestion for future reactions. I would love if you guys could react to Bada Lee. She is a VERY talented dancer and choreographer from Korea that has done some amazing things. She is signed under ‘Jam Republic The Agency’ for international schedules and classes. She mostly choreographs for SM artists since it’s more her style and flows with her identity well. Some of the groups and idols she has choreographed for are WayV, (Action Figure) Kai from EXO (Reason, Rover, Peaches choreographer and performance director, and has been a backup dancer for him on his tours and concerts around the world) Aespa, (Girls, Drama, and the choreography that gave her the recognition she deserves, Next Level) NCT, (90’s Love, and Deja Vu). Also some other artists form different companies such as BABYMONSTER’s ‘Sheesh’ and ‘Forever’ from YG Entertainment. She also choreographed a part of SEVENTEEN’s ‘Maestro. Which is a group signed under Pledis Entertaiment. She was also a backup dancer for BLACKPINK’s Lisa for her ‘Lili’s Film: THE MOVIE’. There are many more artists and choreographies she has done but these are just some of the more well-known ones. She also has her own KZbin channel where she uploads vlogs of her behind-the-scenes and also daily life. She also has her own little series on there called ‘Practice Room’s Bada’ where she has guests such as K-pop idols, artists, and other dancer and choreographers which she interviews/talks with them, teaches them choreo (or they teach her), and film dance challenges. She posts on her channel every Thursday at 7:00PM KST. She also appeared on the popular Korean dance competition show, ‘Street Woman Fighter 2’ with her dance crew BEBE (Lusher, Tatter, Sowon, Kyma, Minah, and Cheche, which are all also AMAZING dancers and choreographers you guys should check out individually and as a group.) Bada is the leader of BEBE, and they eventually came out on top as 1st place after months of dedication, consistency, and hard work. Team BEBE is signed under ‘The L1VE’ label and also have their own separate KZbin channel as well. She has also opened her own dance studio with her business partner, Howl. You can book the dance studio for multiple hours to practice. You can also find her classes on Urban Play Academy’s KZbin channel, JustJerk’s, and also her occasional pop-up classes at YGX, Feedback, and 1MILLION. Justjerk has a whole playlist of all of Bada’s classes and I believe Urban Play does as well. Although she does not teach as often anymore, (considering before the show she taught every week) she recently taught in NYC to the choreography her and Kirsten made, ‘Candyman’. She also taught two classes at KDC Complex in Mexico to ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Candy Paint’. All of her social media accounts are ‘badalee_’ There is much more about Bada Lee and I could go on forever, but this is just a little overview that I tried to make as thorough as possible to give you guys a good idea of who she is. I hope you guys would react to her soon! Love your videos!❤

The thing with some moves in this dance is that they're WEIRD but good weird because someone would never even think of putting or doing those moves with this song but strangely they go with this song and it's so addictive at the same time! Because they're weird and everyone wants to try them. The hand movements are so precise and detailed it aches my head. At the same time it's CUTE. I don't get how someone could possibly put all this together to get all these effects.

The Rizzness is fantastic. No dance practice vid for that, but there's a Music Bank video that gives a really clear look at the choreo. I also love One (Monster & Infinity), which is SuperM. Maybe take a look at Sherlock, which is SHINee, a lot of cool group choreo in that one. And then Move is a definitive choreo in Taemin's solo career and is an absolute classic. I don't know if anyone would consider this a Taemin standard, but Advice is jaw dropping to me. I still can't believe they are moving that fast, it doesn't quite look real.

@aldengroves5193 omg yes Aespa please!
@steezystudio6 ай бұрын
I could be convinced 👀 Could you tell me what you love about those dances?
@aldengroves51936 ай бұрын
@@steezystudio 'Aespa - Armageddon' has some really excellent use of formations, and the hits(?) in the choreo during the hook have really excellent texture (both things that I really appreciate your specific analysis of!) There's a lot of moments that have a really tactile bounce/weight to them and-kinda like the Magentic choreo-there's a lot of unique shapes that I think you'll appreciate. 'NCT 127 - Walk' seems like the choreo is just dozens of different takes on the concept of walking. There's lots of really excellent footwork and musicality to it. Lots of fast-and-slow, big switchups in momentum. Tons of classic hip-hop steps that are reinterpreted in cool ways. Lots of stuff that's super relevant to the Intermediate Hip Hop course too I think. Plus it's just a VIBE and the NCT 127 guys wear the choreo well. Total aside: want more choreography vids from you Clay! I love and am inspired by your style. Thanks for all that you do and for helping to make Steezy what it is!
