Klaroline shipper here. But I cannot deny that Caroline and Stefan are an amazing couple. Their love story isn’t the basic love at first sight type. It slowly developed through their friendship for years. The ups and downs and heartbreaks they went through. Eventually leading up to them falling in love with each other. They got to know each other before falling in love. The reason why I love klaroline, it’s because of the excitement and how Klaus instantly liked Caroline above anyone else without hesitation. As for steroline, their love is so pure and earned throughout time

I mean people just see that stefan loved Elena more or he ignored Caroline or went out with valorie but no one realises that stefan lost his brother and he knew Caroline would not let him leave everything, he loved Elena but he got over her in session 5 and he always loved her and it cannot be changed, he didn't went out with valorie, he asked Caroline to travel world with him but he saw how he wasn't in the picture and he couldn't stay because of the huntress, he died because he was filled with so much guilt and wanted redemption for his brother, people don't realise that all his victims' families got the memories back and they all just blamed him for everything

I've been a fan of The Vampire Diaries since the beginning, and I've always been disappointed by the romantic relationship between Stefan and Caroline. I find it forced and artificial. They didn't have the same chemistry as Stefan and Elena, or even Caroline and Klaus. I'm still a fan of The Vampire Diaries, but I'm not satisfied with the way the story ended. I would have preferred to see Stefan and Elena stay together, or even see Caroline and Klaus end up together. I think Julie Plec missed a great opportunity to create a satisfying ending for the series.
