​@@jacqueline6124 Well OBVIOUSLY as you clearly enjoyed saying. In season 5 it’s clear that Stefan finds it hard to accept that some part of him is still in love with her and will probably always be. Which is what the wanted to in later seasons, show that he did love her but he refuses to accept it. So if they’d included this scene it would have destroyed what they wanted to do with the storyline. Plus this scene would have pointless and it does nothing and it’s unnecessary for it to be in the show.

He shouldn't have done that. I mean I get why he couldn't trust her anymore. It's really hard to tell when she's lying and when she's telling the truth, but she was being really honest here and opened up to him. She had lived a hard life, running and betraying just to survive; she had lost everyone she loved so it made her cold and emotionless. As much as I love Stelena, I was really rooting for #steferine to happen. Too bad the producers were too dumb to notice the chemistry between them. There was just so much they could explore. She was his first true love (don't get me started with that Valerie nonsense). And he was her one true love. They never got over each other even after 145 years. Damon and Stefan both shifted their love to Elena simply because she was the person they wished Katherine had been. And it's also so convenient that they both looked exactly alike. But it was Katherine that started it all for them. It was Katherine who broke their hearts. Stefan could and should have been her salvation. They could have taken their story in a different direction.

Katerina never compelled Stefan to love her. She compelled him to forget about her being a vampire. Which wasn't inherently bad. Since he'd get him memories back when he turned anyway. What was messed up was her turning him without his consent. Unlike Damon, Stefan never wanted to be a vampire. Stefan loved Katherine for the same reason he loved Elena: the doppelganger curse.

No no, sorry, the one who never wanted to be a vampire was Damon and preferred to die without completing the transition than to be a vampire but it was Stefan who forced him out of pride that his brother was by his side forever, so maybe Stefan did not want to be a vampire when he discovered that Katherine was a vampire but then it was the first who did not hesitate to become a vampire and then be the Ripper 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. Damon later became a cold-blooded killer but much later but the one who first started it all was Stefan and Damon for punishing him for turning him into a vampire promised him an eternity of pain and suffering. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

As bad as her character is I still deep down feel for her well more so the human her even after all the horrible things she did to stefan underneath all that makeup and confidence and katherine persona she just wants to be Katerina Petrova at home in Bulgaria again in the arms of her family holding her baby I was really interested in her back story it used to be so well written this show and as much As I truly do love paul and Nina's chemistry I can't ever ship steferine because she fucked up his life he was an innocent human who already had grief about his mothers death and then he was manipulated into thinking she was an angel and maybe she was before all that awful shit that happened to her maybe he really saw her and what she used to be but it still doesn't change want she did just because she was interested didn't mean she had to manipulate her way in it could've been done by pure and real love then he found elena his soulmate❤ Okay that was just my opinion on it really great scene well done I wish they kept it in.

Anime preferate I can assure you that this scene in particular is not in the aired episode. There are other scenes in the cave with Katherine playing mind games with Stefan. And also, this scene is unedited (no sound and visual effects, as you can see). The part when Katherine says “love makes you do crazy things, Stefan” was only shown on the original CW promo before 2x11 aired.
