Here in England we have a program called "Spring Watch" and it follows the life of wildlife in certain locations and certain species, I could absolutely imagine you doing this as an American version. You put together very engaging videos, get shots and story and a voice that isn't annoying, but smooth and calming. P.s I want a Chickadee, from the name to eating out of your hand to being so tiny they are awesome!

I adore chikadees, living in an urban area they are mostly what's around in winter. Watching them eat out of your hand made my day. I live in the city and not out in nature and I have to admit I was traumatized when I put out food for the birds in our yard. Almost immediately a mockingbird showed up and he proceeded to attack and harass all the birds. Especially our sweet Black Phoebe who felt more like a family member. That bird was ceaseless and made our yard a war zone. I was seriously stressed out watching the constant attacks. I finally took down the feeder and instead put out a small bowl of seeds in a hidden place where the mockingbird never seemed to go. I am pretty envious of people who can put out food and enjoy the birds without attracting mean birds.

Yeah that is definitely disappointing. I've only been here a few months, so I'll have to see what it's like in the spring/summer. Depending what shows up I may not be able to keep feeders filled. But we'll see!

So much beauty and ideas!!! So much wonder to appreciate. Thank You for Sharing. When I put my bird feeder stations out I use multi colored acrylic squirrel baffles not to keep them out as much as a way to keep the food dry and the birds can hang out even on a rainy or snowy day. I placed them a little higher over each feeding station and put a solar light in it so it glows in the dark for the flying squirrels (the are the cutest things). Oh Stefano, as a P.S. I just got in from tending to my feeding station on a dark and snowy afternoon. As I was filling one of the feeders several Black Capped Chickadees landed in a branch near my head. Recalling your video, I put out my hand with seed : one flyby, one closer flyby and next a real quick touch and go. A curious Oak Titmouse exclaimed "hold my beer" and directly landed. The flood gate was opened after that...
