Do you have a video for colour grading CLog?

Hi, movie cropping in fhd is sharper because it is oversampled

I think the EOS R is the next camera Canon will replace! It's become an in-between camera and I'm not convinced people are still buying them. the RP on the other hand hits a great price point that's more attractive to entry-level photogs.

Ya it will definitely be replaced soon. Especially with all these new cameras being released and having way better specs.

The RP is really a good buy if you’re venturing into full frame for the first time and on a budget. It was my first full frame camera but I think it’s really not a good buy in comparison to the R (my current camera) the R is just way better and if possible skip the RP. However, I primarily use mine for stills and vertical client content for social media, which the R is great for. When it comes other stuff I rely on the Pocket 4K & 6K.

Canon Log on this camera produces horrible noise in shadow…..

Agree the 8-bit color depth is not the best either! Best thing I'd recommend is to overexpose by at least 1-2 stops!
@shafhussain929 Жыл бұрын
@@StefanoLombardoYT sorry to sound dumb….over exposing two stops means going up from 400 iso to 800 iso?
@StefanoLombardoYT Жыл бұрын
No it's okay! That would be 1 stop. For ISO, every stop will be the number doubled by itself. So 100 doubled is 200 which is 1 stop. 1600 doubled is 3200 which is 1 stop. So an ISO of 400 doubled by itself is 800 which is 1 stop. Now 800 doubled is 1600 which is another stop. So 2 stops up from 400 is 1600. Hope that makes sense. I would just use your cameras internal light meter and see when it's exposed at least 1.5 to 2 stops higher!

Actually the "old" video you deem horrible look much better than the one I'm commenting. Of course that's my personal taste, and I'm watching from a 2019 iPhoneSE2, so ymmv, but I find the old videos you showed here much more interesting in term of lighting; this one is flat, and your face is too hot
