Nice idea, whats the water capacity of the unit? does it have any other self protection than the two lateral and two forward nozzels? whats the defensive heat resistance ability with no water? can the pump system handle foam? Is the M3 unit capable of spraying water with the telescopic arm?

They are showing that the system has a large porta tank that air crews can refill with Bambi buckets if a normal tanker can't get to it and also for the fact a water drop isn't always feasible or safe

These vehicles can't get into dense forest, or into extreme terrain. Aircraft are better suited for some of these tasks.

deezynar That's ok, as long as you want to pick someone up that's waiting for you on anopen area. You can't hover on an helicopter over a fire, nor search for someone in a forest, for that you need to be there, on the ground.

+Namefag In my original comment, I said these tracked units could not get into dense forest or extreme terrain, aircraft are better suited for those conditions. You replied by saying that aircraft can't pick people up. I pointed out that helicopters can. You then come back and say helicopters can't pick up people from the exact conditions that I said these vehicles can't reach, dense forest. Don't you see any irony in that?
