I have larger animals I have rescued and there’s about 50 total and they take a lot of time. I guess it depends on the animals you rescue. I rescue horses, rabbits, cats, parrots and other small animals and have a lot of ranch animals too so they are time consuming. I think reptiles are less time consuming though.

It is very good you care about the feeders as well. It's all a full cycle. I love animals so so much. I fully support you and your family doing the animal rescue work you do and I am very happy to hear you have your family to help you raise these animals. It's to much for just 1 person. It's the animals who end up suffering. I do not support animal hoarding whoch is becoming popular on KZbin:( .. but you seem to have the space and finances to properly support these animals which is nice to see!

Hello! I just stumbled upon your channel. And subscribed. You are an ANGEL! Thank you so much for rescuing these precious animals. Everyone looks good and healthy, and their habitats are immaculate. I’d be the same as your helpers- I wouldn’t want to be in the video. But they’re there and doing a great job! You do so well with the feeder bugs. Do you now use frozen mice for the snakes? ( Yes , beautiful eyebrows!). I have 6 parrots...... they DO headbang!!! The rats melted my heart. I love rats. Are yours hairless? Cuteness overload. I have 7 turtles in 4 different enclosures, 4 fish tanks, a parakeet, a dog and a full time job and taking care of them all definitely takes up alot of my spare time, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter and there was a deaf cat and he was so sweet. He was kept in the room with the kittens because that's where he was safest and he would constantly stand at the screen door to the kitten room, look at me, and turn his head innocently. I soon learned not to open the door during those times because he would run out of the room. A very smart boy. He did eventually get adopted and his new family would take him on walks and it made me so happy.

I'm also super curious what route your using to security train him...even if you arent filming it. My girl was supposed to be a security dog and I never found a good method of training without having to send her away to a boot camp (which I'd NEVER do)

Have you tried giving your rats toys? They are so incredibly smart and love to play and also forage. I rescue rats (I had 57 at 1 point) if you put a dish of sand with some treats buried or a dish of water with frozen peas/corn or treats in it they will love to forage/fish for them :)
