Watch ThePianoForever review the flagship Steinway Model D Spirio R. It is garbage, its not even going to hit all the notes. It DEFINITELY cant claim to be anywhere near a live performance.

The Disklavier system can only be added as a build option on new yamaha pianos, thats the best... you could have QRS rip out the Spirio system and retrofit it with their Piano Disk system.. they can do just about any piano... But yeah im sure youve already learned that selling it as a Spirio isnt an option when used... Your best bet, honestly, is to rip the spirio system out and just sell the piano as soon as you can before PR plummets downhill (i suspect that day is soon).

Stop lying, Steinway. This is not the first player piano. It is not high resolution. Both Enspire and QRS systems outperform this at a fraction of the price. Not to mention the severe lack of quality and technician training for New York made Steinways. Stop misinforming the USA buyers. Ask any qualified piano technician before thinking about buying a Steinway.

hochha Most professional pianists wouldn’t agree. It is difficult to hear the difference unless you’re in the same room as a Yamaha/Steinway but there is an important difference in the range of dynamics and colour that can be used in a Steinway.

Well of course /they/ would beg to differ but they don’t lie about statistics and if you google it the percentage of professional pianists that choose Steinway is above 90% and as high as 98% in one article. It’s difficult to say that those brands are better in any aspect to Steinway concert grands but they are cheaper and will probably always get attention because of that. In my opinion, having played all three it goes: Steinway > Bosendorfer > Yamaha
