If, and I am hoping that Stellantis spins Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM off, or better yet sells the company in its entirety to a better parent, get rid of Ralph Giles, head of design. He has outlived his usefulness, and bring back the likes of Tom Gale. I would have fired him after the unattractive styling of the Wagoneer series of full-sized SUVs, and those who approved of the styling. This vehicle could have been an Escalade "killer", although my boss has a new Grand Wagoneer Serie 3, and loves it! The styling of the new Charger is so bland compared to the 2024 model, I wouldn't buy the car even if it had a Hemi.

Interesting podcast I heard the other day with Chip Foose about how the Plymouth Prowler came about. Speaking of Chrysler EV's- He was in an art school where Chrysler design engineers gave the students a "project" to design an EV that a "person that liked to exercise" (no joke) would ride an exercise bike at night to recharge their car for the next day to go to work. Chip drew that but he also drew a retro/resto mod of what became the Prowler, which was not part of the project assignment. His explanation to the teacher was that "you wanted me to create something for a customer that doesn't exist, 'hoping' to create a customer, where as apposed to THIS (Prowler), thousands of people already exist that want this" (not verbatim). Smart man.

I don't mean take original cars and restomod them start making them again and even do what they did with the challenger at the end and sell bare shells and even entire body pieces for people who wanted to restore the originals. They could bring back Plymouth and use Plymouth for more base model cars like the belvedere and satellite and have more performance versions in the road runner gtx and dodge would have the charger, coronet, super bee and challenger. Remaking the valiant, duster and darts would be extremely cheap to do. What keeps a lot of people from buying ev's is the entry price. If they could price the dusters and darts for 25 to 30k they'd sell. People can't afford 60k entry price for an ev.
