Stellar Blade Has Gone Gold: Easter Eggs from Shift Up's Studio

Stellar Blade has gone gold. A few days ago, Stellar Blade's game director, Kim Hyung-Tae, posted on X stating Stellar Blade's development has wrapped and the game went gold. This means the developers feel that the game is complete and Stellar Blade is now being printed on physical media and starting to be shipped worldwide. Of course, the developers will continue to work on patches and continue to provide upkeep and post-launch content for the game.
What was also released a couple of weeks ago on some of Sony Playstation's official KZbin channels in their different countries / regions was a quick clip of about one minute that showed a tour of Shift Up's studio. The video showed a bunch of developers working on the game. In the clip, we could also see several Easter Eggs of content from Stellar Blade on the computer screens / monitors the developers were working on - including screenshots of characters, key objects, and outfits. It was great to see this passionate development team hard at work and engrossed in their development of this much anticipated game. I just have to say, I love the content you've been putting out for Stellar Blade. No one else dares to dive this deep! Here's what I thought after the demo, maybe the opposite of your theory. Mother Sphere had to abandon Earth, but for the Human Race to survive in some capacity, she had to take samples with her. Therefore, Eve and her like are Engrams. Downloaded Human minds, in artificial bodies. I feel like when Tachy gets her arm chopped off, you can see metal bone. Therefore, fake body, real mind? It's fun to speculate, that's for sure.

Great video I would like to add a new perspective on Lily name due to the name Lilth isn't in the bible. In 1 Kings 7: 22 (in the KJV and ESV), they use the word "lily-works," meaning the works that glorify God. Given that Lily is an engineer and she shows signs of upgrading EVE's equipment, it makes me believe this verse is where they get her name.

I'm sure someone's already said this by now, but at 8:40 the application you didn't recognize is Windows Photos, the built in application windows uses to show Image files, assuming no other applications has taken charge of that. And the image there is likely his reference. As for Zone_AYL_04 I don't know specifically what that is, but I want to point out the application the guy is using is possibly Houdini FX, and application used to generate terrain and design levels. So chances are Zone_AYL_04 is an area, or a part of an area. Though I have neither played Stellar Blade Nor used Houdini so do your own research with that information.

I'm a cheap gamer but this is the first game I've pre-ordered since Halo 2 and the first 70 dollars I've paid for a video game in my life. This game represents many things that are important for me especially the Bible references. Also the anti-woke stance of this developer and of course the game game is beautiful and fun. Here is some more potential food for thoughts. When you see the game logo, you can find there are also Chinese characters 星刃 in the background. 星(Stellar) 刃(Balde) It becomes interesting when it comes to how the word is pronounced and written in Korean, (성인) as the Korean(Hanguel) spelling and pronunciation for this word are identical to 成人(성인, adult/grown-up) and 聖人(성인, saint) Of the three different usage, 成人(adult) is obviously the most often used vocabulary, followed by 聖人(saint). 星刃 is perhaps the least used vocabulary. (As a mid-40 Korean, I have never seen it used in this way before.... almost, because my memory isn't perfect.) As for people wondering why Koreans are using Chinese characters... It's because before Hanguel(Korean alphabet) was invented, people were using Chinese characters for vocabulary. Nowadays we don't use them as often as before, but It is still used nowadays in several instances, such as when compressing lengthy expression, avoiding a possible confusion due to use of homonyms (especially in legal documents)... even to weird cases of someone wanting to look 'sophisticated or educated.' In the case of the last example, you could say it is somewhat similar to how British accent is treated in US.

Shift up created a game based on imagery from The Bible. But failed to interpret it. The book of Ezekiel and its imagery described in it is a vision from God to Ezekiel from the future. God revealed to him the Airplane, Helicopter, Rocket, Astronaut, Jet ect,. Thus Ezekiel having his faith strengthened in God indefinitely.

While I also wish that no one over at Shift Up will be let go due to the end of the game's development, we gotta face reality: Shift Up mostly produces mobile games, which are low-maintenance and don't require huge amounts of people working on them all the time, and continuous patching and updating of a single home console game also doesn't require tons of staff. Unless they were to almost immediately start pre-production of another big game, it only makes sense to let most of the staff go, which is also a good reason to never create labor unions for video game developers and to mostly hire freelancers.

Hey I have some information to share with you, there is a reddit post about Stellar Blade titled, Stellar Blade Combo Essentials where someone goes deep into the combos of the game, just to get you interested there are 10 combos in the game, and this is why I love this game because this is like a hack & slash game.

Great observations! One thing I just found is if you look closely at 16:48, the model has a pretty thick eyebrow, which is a bit different from that of the white-haired character. Some other details like the clothes, hairstyle, etc. also don't match. Instead, this might be the model of the mysterious black-haired woman in the background of the vinyl record (13:18). Thick eyebrow and matching hairstyle are 2 similarities I found. As to who this woman is, since they only show her face (which covers the largest area out of anyone), she should be someone important to the story. Looking at how intricate her outfit from her model is, my guess is that she might be the final boss that Eve will fight against.

At first I thought it was Tachy. I've been going back and forth with if it's her - and it just looks a little different - or if it is someone new. I can see your point, that it's possibly someone else and they are important due to how much space she takes up on the cover.

I was looking at their post of every trailer and kept pausing it at 11:36. I only see EVE adn the enemy puppet monster. Am I missing the white haired girl? Oh yeah, and the Lily / Adam conversation - I think it's about Adam telling Lily he thinks she is not human. I think there's going to be a through theme of "What does it mean to be human?" in the game. Perhaps because we know Adam is an actual natural human, and we think Lily, Eve, Tachy, etc. are AI/artificial in some way, they are having a debate/argument about that.

My only issue with the performances stems with Adam’s - the actor’s delivery is exceedingly stiff; despite being the only character in the scene that’s supposed to be human! The localization isn’t terribly offensive to me otherwise; just a bit on the dull side… 😅

The exospine and gear sockets are said to be those implants (Item descriptions) In a way she is a cyborg however she certainly isn't an android/robot. The CEO of shift up and director of the game states that she's a human so treat her like an enhanced human I suppose.
