Lore within the game explains that Eve's kind were used for human "companionship" prior to the Naytiba outbreak. Which is why all of her kind are attractive. Post outbreak, they were repurposed as weapons with the sole purpose of exterminating the Naytiba. She doesn't "own her sexiness" because she wasn't programmed to do so.

Great review. Read the review. Watched your opinions. Agree with all your thoughts. I probably won't play it right this minute currently working through smaller projects like Hades 2- Early Access (goes live in a month after the Technical Test ends), Yakuza 8 (Love that series) and Eiyuden Chronicle (Free on GamePass and lots of fun). But Stellar Blade (or Project Eve as it was originally called) is on my list. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Don't have a PS5 and don't want one so never gonna play this, unless it comes to PC. But, this game will be forgotten in 6 months. Its getting artificial hype from the hot protag and the culture war rage. In a vacuum, without the nonsense going on from "both sides", this is like a 7 at best 😅 I don't know why people have to get their feelings involved whenever sex appeal gets involved.

Having watched multiple SB reviews, this is the broad consensus: + Great combat (narrower parry/dodge windows than Sekiro) + Good boss battles - Paper thin characterizations - Repetitive fetch side quests Aggregate Score: 8ish/10 Gonna keep my expectations tempered, Lies of P knocked it out of the park and if SB can come close it'll be good[

@@joebrown6778 I think the origin of this "controversy" was a French IGN preview in which the writer made a negative remark about Eve's design, but otherwise praised the game. Naturally this means that the woke mob is trying to ban jiggle physics or something, so some valiant content creators stepped in, put the article through Google translate and bravely warned us about this looming threat. TL,DR: The answer to your question is yes.

Honestly a learning moment I had Paul pegged to be vehemently against Stellar Blade for obvious reasons but I'm glad he gave it a fair shake as not many do and even I am guilty of doing. As a Nikke player I'll prolly pick up a PS5 finally with my next paycheck.
