The more I go along in the journey the less I enjoy the pack opening experience. It is fun when you get a nice pull but when it doesn't hit I always wish I just bought the single cards I wanted.

I pulled the raboot zerora bulba and squrtle that's every card I wanted and I got it from around 19 packs so I think I should stop while I'm ahead

Whoa! Just half a booster box worth of packs! Yeah I would hit the breaks and celebrate! When Silver Tempest came out I pulled the Lugia in my first opening from an ETB after that I should have never opened another pack from the set. I kept opening and it never paid off. Congrats on the pulls!

I've been having fun getting back into pokemon. My wife and I are learning the rules to even play the game. I have been collecting as well and I forgot how much fun it is honestly.

Yeah, when I got back in it quickly became an addiction. I've since then learned to pull back and be much more selective about how I am involved in the hobby. It's fun but I could see where it could become financially dangerous too.
