I had the dark gray watch for, for just half a week, and I love it! Great tracking, as well as a beautiful watch to have on the wrist. I also love the way you can set up those shortcuts to save you from scrolling the watch any time you need a reading.

Ive had the Huawei Watch 4 Pro since launch and i love it, i can get two weeks battery life with the AOD on. Dont buy one without the Ti strap as you wont be able to buy the strap later on.

Huawei when will you sort out nfc pay so it can be used in the UK!! I have had two huawei watches and still using my huawei watch gt2 but now thinking of buying a new one and currently looking at the tic pro 5 and amazfit balance which both have nfc. This is the only thing which is letting you down.

Best watch ever.. Gt4 I got a month.. Not used 24/7.. Then I got the gt3 pro and nearly two months battery life not used 24/7. Used gt3 pro for a week 24/7 and you can get 2 weeks.

Hello to everyone! Between the Wach 4 Pro and the GT 4 which is the best choice for fitness and health tracking? The watch 4 pro comes with full harmony os, and the gt 4 with lite version,and the watch pro came with ecg sensor. I have the GT4, because it is lighter on the wrist. I had it just over half a week, and love it so far. I have the dark gray watch. Great tracking, as well as a beautiful watch to have on the wrist. So after more inspection with the problem I have with the GT4 heart-rate sensor during a workout the accuracy is actually perfect no problem at all,the problem is the HR sensor during normal day to day use when there is no exercise mode on it goes to 151 bpm which is fine but then just stays there and won't go above it no matter what .Would anyone have a reason why this would be?

Fantastic watch but without esim support in the UK it's not worth the extra money over the gt model. As far as I can tell only Vodafone supports esim for huawei watches but their internet speeds are poor with very limited 5g coverage. Will probably send mine back and stick with the gt2 pro until Samsung can produce a nice watch with esim and decent battery life...

The assistant dose work without a Huwaei phone, I have the Watch 4 Pro, and it works with my S23U.

AI Voice is only available with an EMUI 10.1 or later phone. That's what my GT 4 says on the watch screen when I try to start the assistant.

@@Alan..W I also have the GT3 pro, the assistant dosnt work on that unless you have a Huwaei phone but it dose on the Watch 4 Pro with a S23. I guess the GT series need a Huwaei phone because thay run a cut down OS, the Watch 4 OS is based on Android, and the assistant needs to work standalone because it supports esim, although I don't use esim.

It is almost a good fitness watch but... Heart rate is inaccurate (for me) when running as it locks on to my running cadence not heart rate so I have to use an external sensor. The GPS track is inaccurate (smoothed) so you cut corners, lots of broad sweeps. It does not upload HR data to Strava. It does not link to TrainingPeaks. You can't download the data directly (.fit or .tcx formats) so essentially a closed ecosystem. No calendarised structured training. No website to peruse running data. In fact, come to think of it, not a good fitness watch.😐

Why cant we install apps to these watches? Huawei watches always look incredible but not being able to install apps makes them not that smart imo. I have gt2e and buying gt4 wouldn't make that much difference for me. I would trade battery life for some smart features. Wear os devices does that I believe. Being smart makes the battery life short but I'm ok with that. I think I need a galaxy watch.

I have a GT3 but it used a different codec than north american cars use and so using it while driving was a disaster. Screen also cracked. That's it for me. Never again

Without dedicated Android apps, to integrate the watch, I don't understand how you can recommend any Huawei watch. For anybody new getting into smart/fitness watches, they're awful to get running WHEN they don't go smoothly , the troubleshooting is a deal-breaker.

My use-case (I’m a diabetic): I use my Apple Watch 5 which is paired to my iPhone SE (sorry Chris 😂) which is paired to my glucose sensor to have a look at my glucose level without having to pull out and unlock my phone.

Unlock/unarm your house, start your car, order an Uber, I can order food, basically leave my phone behind and go for a run with music and the Nike app synced, the possibilities are endless. I feel like you just lack the technological know how to use one. In your defense, these watches are not very... Smart. From the quick skim through there's no third party app store for third party apps, so I guess this does look very basic.
