Honestly, an excellent move; those ring worlds will come in extreme handy. Hopefully he can begin building up other parts of the system. He has a rougher start; but he’s still dominating quite well. With luck we can hope perhaps the Machines can be...pacified.

I always went for Synthetics and just didn't bother with Sapient Combat AI. Contingency's sorta nostalgic as the first(and only) crisis I went up against, but AI Uprisings... those have never happened to me. And probably never will b/c I'd probably just give them rights anyway even without the threat.

There are two ways to prevent uprising: Give them rights, or take flesh is weak. If your pops are cyborgs, robots never rebel

Giving rights to an inherently flawed tool seems rather counterintuitive. If you don't mind neutral nets why not become robot, if you do mind why allow the tools you built to decide what they want to do. And if you don't want either route why build them in the first place unless you're really twisted and want to larp BSG for real.

I actually played the game yesterday and saw that the AI had started with the Doomsday origin. Suddenly a news flash across the Galaxy that their homeworld had exploded. And to my surprise, the AI had managed to survive. It's nice to see even the AI is capable of surviving the Doomsday origin. Of course, this AI will probably be a weak pushover for quite a while.

To me it seems the AI will start to play as if it was Condition Fortress Europa and make himself impregnable against early game fleets. Which ofcourse is the correct choice if it can't expand and the folks around are too strong to conquer

Hey Aspec, next time you open a diplo window with those clankers, mouse over their Origin, it says Separatists, and i'm curious to see what effects it has :) also, i'm considering starting a Rogue Servitor playthrough (never played them, i've always gone Skynet or Borg) on a ruined ring world (since they can't do machine worlds), and i was wondering if you had any advice. As for this Doomsday Origin, i looked through the files, and it says in the text files that there are no habitable worlds near your start system, so no matter how many times you do it over, you will always struggle to find habitable worlds close to your home system.

I managed to get 68.3k senate power for a vote when by base power was 8k. How? 30 something favors I got for food, alloy, and consumer goods. The influence cost was high though. Turns out there isn’t a limit on how many favors up you can use on one law.

(I'll also take a look at what other Stellaris videos you'll put out in the future, like I've done in the past whenever my interest in Stellaris was piqued, like it is now in fact.) P.S.: By the way, I have a name to suggest for your Juggernaut, which I presume is the pride of your exiled species' fleet. Given how the Juggernauts all seem to resemble flying wing bombers like the B-2 Spirit (a resemblance shared by its inspirational source, The Supremacy, a.k.a. the First Order's flagship from Star Wars: The Last Jedi), given how they're limited to just 1 per empire, and given how your empire was born from a need to evacuate their doomed homeworld of Absolom, I'd name your Juggernaut the "Spirit of Absolom".

Quite honestly, it can turn sour pretty quickly. I would advance into berserker territory, let the robots distract and suck damage until the fleet power of both turns weak enough to turn on the robots.

You can only build 1 of each type of megastructure, excluding habitats and gateways. This does not prevent you from repairing a second copy, or conquering a neighboring empire that built their own.

I love uprisings, adds some flavour to the game. I had one happen to me, was so fun, I quite comfortably beat it but still enjoyed the fact that they rose up.

@ASpec can you do a video on fleet manager, I never understood how it worked. I alway just use the 40k approach and throw sheer numbers, regardless of weapons. But it be nice to use that feature tool. To the max, thay way I can match or over come an enemy, like you do to that guy on your doorstep. Peas and carrots

Fleet manager? Or ship design? I split defense modules right down the middle. If it's odd, I add one more armor. On the weapons side, build the biggest guns each size can have, plus a missile variant, and a point defense or carrier variant. On the destroyers, use smaller guns instead of a missile variant. It's entirely up to you if you pick kinetic or laser. On the Juggernaut and Titan, put the healing aura, then the fighter or strike craft buff one.

I'm actually intrigued by how others seem to play, normally when me and my friend play we have every basic tech within the first, roughly 50 or so years, normally my friends military though is lacking, but when I watched you I noticed your more Wide than we are tall. (however normally I also go wide and tall). I play on xbox so Im not sure if its just because were behind on updates, because I feel like me and my friend can typically get to around end game stuff by the first 100 years.

It's actually easier to check where you can build a megastructure if you rightclick on a star and choose "build megastructure" on it, then hover over the greyed out entries. It will tell you why it won't be possible there (e.g. cannot built due to existing orbital station, cannot build in a binary or trinary system, cannot build around a star, etc.). Then you'll know where it'd be possible or what you need to change.

If you give them rights, the robots won't revolt, at least I've never had an issue with it, also they can still revolt without the sapient stuff researched, just a lot lower. Now for RP purposes I have allowed them to happen.
