Today watched a bbc tv program..an experiment which started at the castle with a steller eagle then they went to kwazulu natal South Africa to watch the largest eagle here where i live .. and returned to the Warwick castle eagle. Was really of great interest to see that they can actually carry their own body weight.

Beautiful animal. But these birds are also known to snatch dogs, goats...and even children. Dropping them from a height to the ground again to kill and immobilize the prey and then diving back down to retrieve them.
