This is amazing, hopefully it comes to all the media players. I would love to see what James hype does with stems.

Thanks for all the amazing work! Completely off topic. What is your favorite dj gear to practice on?
@PDot9 күн бұрын
Honestly it depends on what i am focusing on during that practice session.

Sorry for the newbie questions. Could you give me an example? Even if you don't. Once again, thank you for all the great work. You've really helped me out with my DJing

When in STEMS mode hit the left parameter button for vocals only and the right for instrumental.

I am looking at a DenonDJ Prime 4 and assume that this new update will work in standalone mode on that model? I know one of these players is an SC5000. What is the other one please? You are an inspiration! Thanks
@PDot5 күн бұрын
@@petercassidy68 yes it does work with the prime 4! And the other one is an LC6000. It’s basically the same layout of the sc6000 and gives you control of the second layer in the Denon players!

Exciting but i am not gonna convert before it becomes EQ stems. Total stem kill sounds unnatural to me.

Hey PDot, kinda a different take for sure and seems better than just creating Acaps & Inst on a 3rd party software and just adding them to your collection. Wondering though after you pre analyse a track does it basically add 4 extra tracks of the that track to your collection, so you now have the original Track, vocal, melody, bassline, drums? Wondering how it does it, obviously it takes up X amount extra space on your drive for each track, kinda wondering how much, will it turn 100GB of Tracks into 200GB ect ect ???
@PDot9 күн бұрын
Yes, just like the Serato stems it creates the stem copies

@@PDot Cheers bud, seems like a good middle ground until you get the real time Stems :)

“Analyzed for stems” so, an instrumental and accapela?
@PDot9 күн бұрын
It breaks it down to 4 stems, not just acapella and instrumental.

How much space does it take per stem song?
@bboymac847 күн бұрын
@ time to buy a bigger hard drive 1-2TB hd

@ it’s a must if you plan on using stems a lot
@P4boot7 күн бұрын
Pointless if you still have to analyze with computer. But good step in the real right direction esp for older equipment
@_P_M_7 күн бұрын
How is it pointless? Even a powerful computer cannot analyze high quality stems on the fly. Either way you end up with a pre-analyzed stem file if you want good quality.
