Hi Rogier! Are those Thomastiks on there? I'm a fan of Thomastiks on J-basses. Were you aggressive with the SkarBassOne settings on this, e.g. lots of comp and drive? Best regards from Vancouver.

Hi Derek. These are Galli strings, and a bit dead’ish’. Yes compression and EQ from the Skarbass. No drive. Greets 😊

Not sure if this has already been requested, but if you had the chance to do any lessons / instructional videos show how you practice time and technique, particularly right hand, I think I can safely say that not only I will be ecstatic! Very nice tone and impecable playing! Question: I noticed you ghost-note the string below. I developed the habit of ghosting the same string I play by simply releasing some pressure when I pluck it. Do you think this technique is less advisable?

Thanks! Yes I tried a long time ago what you describe, but I couldn’t get it to sound fluent that way. I guess it’s very subjective. As long as it sounds good and it works for you it ís good.
