Shiva has been my favourite FF summon since VI. Despite the fact that I really do not like being cold. And it's not just the character design itself, since there are other summons that look like her, like Siren in VIII, but Diamond Dust is also awesome, especially in its FFX incarnation. I've been doing my best this whole comment to avoid saying that she's "cool" because of the pun.

I *adore* the Shiva fights! I'm not brave enough to MINE the Ex, but it's still one of my favourite battles. It's solidly tricky without being a jerk (looking at you Ramuh) and has an absolutely slapping theme!

Shiva EX is a fight that I have farmed to hell and back, to the point that I did it just for fun. PS A) The Sword & Shield is a stack mechanic and to avoid the Bow you have to get directly behind her (a reason to stick to her arse like glue lol) as the attack hits like 300 degrees in front of her. Best way to think about is to look at the field beneath her character model and be in the spot that is empty B) Like with Ifrit, its best for tanks to swap once they got 3-4 stacks of the debuff to keep the damage manageable

As much as I love FFXIV... SMN really needs to have more summons to fit into the aspect of being a Final Fantasy Summoner. Shiva should've been one :( Need more than PTSD Dragon Boomer, Fire turkey, Chilliboy, Chicken Nugget and Big Thigh Bird Woman. Rant aside. Nice to see youre still having a blast! :D

Shiva was the moment when FF clicked for me and i was like "alright this game is fkin awesome" The transition shatter timed with the start song is just so amazing and unexpected.

My favorite, most devious part of Shiva Ex is that frontal tank cleave/buster is actually a stack that has to be shared (or invulned) Absolutely evil fight design

I love Shiva's weapons and have collected a few of them, particularly a big fan of the warrior axe, but I just can't figure out what outfit to wear with them T_T Really wish we had some sorta frozen knight type armor, like Arthas from WoW, that'd go awesome with them
