I can honestly say once you have visited the area the whole picture becomes a reality at just how stunning these old buildings really are. You fooled me! Based on the intro, I thought the property was in a rural area, not within a town. It's a grand house, with plenty of space. Sure, there needs to be updating of the bathrooms and kitchen. However, the frescos more than make up for that. The garden is wonderful. There is so much space up there that I would use it as more living space and add another bedroom. And downstairs where you went into after the kitchen would work as a wine cellar. For the same price, they sell a 120 sqm townhouse with a small roof terrace in the center of Ostuni. I would put the kitchen on the higher floor..the attic has potential too. The house in centro storico with a garden, is a dream..you did shown before other property with it, but this is amazing plus the all area is a stunning location.

well, you said it :) time is standing still here and it adds an amazing calm to the space as it harks back to a simpler time! so much here in every nook and cranny ! some work could be done to bring it up to date inside and out, but my feeling is that it should not be so much that it would lose that absolute original look and feel that is a real selling point to this fantastic place! most of what it needs is some refreshing to bring it back to it's best once again. the garden area is private and ample enough to make it feel like you are really tucked away from the cares of the world and then back inside to the comfort and ease of a lovely home with all the charm one could ever ask for. it is lovely -- just lovely! yet another great find nick!

Incredible property, so unspoilt, so much charm and interesting quirks, and the garden, views, location is unreal! Roofs are very expensive but I hope whoever buys this spends on that sortof thing rather than making massive changes to the interior jusy because it's allowed.
