I don’t remember if you used all the sports complexes for the university, I’m thinking you could put the track and field stadium on the other side. I think it would be a nice feature to that area being that it’s near the water.

No he didn’t, just the basketball and the swimming thingy, and it would also increase the attraction lvl of the university, if he extends the uni area to those, which would help reach lvl5 (if im not mistaken that it is still lvl4)

Hey Biffa! I think that it would be great for pedestrians to have the walking bridge connected directly to the Science Center, because right now they have to enter by the road and make all the zigzag to get to visit the building. And I also agree with other comments, maybe it would be better to have a new bus line starting from your hub near the sea instead of extend the green bus line that comes from east. Great opportunites also near the hub to make a huuuuge parking lot, like in some cities where you have free parking if you take public transport (in Lyon for example). You're amazing ^^

FYI: When you hit a teacup with a spoon the pitch of the sound is mostly the same no matter where you hit it. Technically the teacup can have multiple modes of resonance, and so the sound you get will have 2 tones in it. Depending on where you strike the teacup you may also excite one mode more than the other, so the tones change in volume relative to each other. I believe that these 2 modes of resonance occur because of the handle (in one mode the handle is at the peak of the excursion, in the other mode the handle is at the zero point; not really sure, just a theory of mine :)). You can check that with the following method: Imagine a cross that has the handle as one of its arms and strike the cup at one of the other arms, you get one pitch. If you strike the cup right in the middle between two sections of the cross, the pitch changes slightly. The difference between these two modes is very subtle, the pitch changes by maybe 1-2 semitones (whereas in your autosave teacup it changes by approx. 8). Also, the pitch doesn´t change when you strike the cup on the rim or on the side. Point being, your autosave teacup noises are a physical oddity :)

Just to add to this, the pitch will change when you drink some of the tea, as you're effectively changing the length of the open tube (i.e. the distance from the rim of the cup to the surface level of the tea) and the wavelength of the system's harmonics and overtones is theoretically proportional to that length. (λ=4L with one open end, although I'm sure the other variables discussed above will come into play too.) So the lower-pitched noises at the end of the autosave graphic imply some tea has been sipped, I think!

@@bobblebardsley Actually not, try it :) The pitch goes down when you fill the cup. That would suggest to me that the model of an open tube resonator does not apply here. A possible explanation is that in all cases the whole "tube" resonates, but the water/tea inside acts as a damper, effectively reducing the resonance frequency... I have also tried it with a tall glass, same result...

@@GodLike-pe6kj Oo you're correct - interestingly when tapping a cup or glass bottle, the frequency is lower when the cup is fuller, whereas when _blowing_ over the open neck of a bottle, the frequency is lower when the bottle is emptier. In the first case the cup/glass is the vibrating medium producing the sound (and is dampened by the liquid as you said) and in the second, the air is the vibrating medium and behaves according to the open tube/pipe formula.

The trainstation you used is an elevated station and you connected the rails on ground level. You can now look through the station which isn't the best. But everything else is perfect in the district

Great episode! Love the way it looks. A few suggestions tho 1. The road that goes in front of the train tracks by the older ferry stop in the old part of no problem atol should be extended somehow to follow the train tracks to the public transport area. It will help the buses get around better also. 2. You have no trams since like episode 2. That 2 lane bike road running parallel to the main arterial road would be a great road to upgrade all the way through the island. It would offer a great backbone for public’s transportation on no problem atol. 3. In the future I think a second ore or oil industry area on the other side on the highway would be a great change to all the commercial, residential, and office on the island.

You should connect the science center with pedestrian paths from the station, the roundabout, and the Main Street. I think the small road you used doesn’t have any sidewalks. You should also connect a train line to the new station, and use the bus station there! Also, you’ve been killing it at uploading recently, making my unemployment so much better :)

I think, there is a great area for the park zone and a touristic and leisure districts with some beaches and summer sports. And maybe a small old town near the castle with European style

In general it would be really nice to decorate that beach section with some chairs, umbrellas. Sort of like a holiday resort type feel. think the most expensive hotels in Ayia Napa or Costa Del anything. Private beaches, stunning views.

The new district looks fabulous! I guess you'll need some more public transit (you tend to build rather long bus lines, and I'm not sure that is working in your favour). Since you added the bus station to the transportation hub area, you should connect at least one overlapping line that you extended and then also add just a back and forth from the bus stations so they can transfer from hub to hub if they would like.

I've not used it extensively but there is a merge tool in the network multi-tool that would allow you to do the move it mod trick with the diamond interchange. You just have to select the segments and merge them instead of rebuilding them.

It would be great to continue the idea of a park in those little water pools. The arched rock that you have the high speed road going through on the other side of the map could feature there as part of a grotto. There is a beach asset on the work shop I use. It's basically an invisible circle that can be moved almost all the way into water without the flood warning appearing. Sims run around on it on dry land but we could pretend they're bobbing in the water when placed in it. My pc has a hard time running the game now otherwise I'd get a screen shot of what I'm talking about.

A launch complex would look great at the end of the island! They need undeveloped land around them though to look realistic. Look at pictures of Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenburg Space Force Base for reference.

I'd love to see a proper entertainment district near the tourist area. Some leisure specialisation, some nightclubs and restaurants etc. I think it would compliment the area nicely, and who wouldn't want a mad night out in New Tealand?!

That small island next to our future laky park looks like Teacken legs, maybe this name will fit somewhere. 26:11 pebble-stones?! Looks awesome, these can be put instead of quay walls at some places, e.g. nature reserve park and that comb of islands with aquatic center. We'll pretend it's handmade of saved rocks, and you'll wash away your guilt for destroying so many poor rocks)) Yeah, and all parking lots are already chock full in new district, I think, hotels, science center and commercial need some extra parking spaces.

Biff, I moved from the UK to Oz and down here in Brisbane we have an area called South Bank! It’s a inland beach and pool set up! (have a google!) I think the water area cut off from the sea would make a great reconstruction of this!! Have a gander!! All the best, love the vids!!

I like the science center district. (I used to work for a real world science center. So I may have a bias. lol) IMO the area is missing a nice multilevel parking structure. Maybe a huge parking structure could be built across the highway from the science center. A pedestrian bridge could be built so the people can cross the highway.
