I have just used tools from around my garage for this install. You can purchase a windscreen removal kit which you may find useful. I didn’t feel the need for one.

Got both sides in this week as well, I got a glazier to take the windows out prior. I found the weak points are the rivets at the top holding the gull wing window to the frame. After putting the pin in it locked the window in the closed position, carefully opening the window it basically locked it with no movement popping the rivets out as the window opened. I replaced with thicker rivets and mucking around to free up the hinge. They look great glad I got them after a long wait, just be careful when installing pins :) Anyone looking for the instructions they are on the ozjimny webpage in the gull wing section.

Yes I agree re the rivets. Luckily I use rivets all day at work so can also replace with some stronger S/s ones. Thankyou for the heads up Re the instructions 😊

Good install, yep they look really neat, still to install ours. A good way to remove the glass sealant, or for that matter any silicone, once the glass is out is with a sharp carpenters chisel, gently push it along the sealant and it slices it off really easily.

Awesome video! I wonder if we can make a gull wing window out of the rear tailgate window if we manage to remount the spare wheel further away from the tailgate? I.e easy access to the boot.

Thankyou mate! 😊 unfortunately my car is away at a workshop this week and weekend otherwise I would just measure the dimensions straight away for you. Weight wise, I have tools and recovery gear in mine, maybe 5-6kg in each, which is completely fine 😊🙌🏼

Yes the back seats are still fully useable, but not particularly comfortable for whoever is sitting there 😬

Hey mate yeah it’s a drop down table I made using 7mm ply and marine carpet 😊🤙🏼 it has an aluminium surface on the top side of the fold down table.

Is it possible to put a small tent on the roof back and an sunroof in the front to open up fully ?

Hi how are the gullwings any issues eg leaking as you have had them awhile .. do they interfere with airbags etc???

Hey mate they’ve been fantastic for me. Zero issues with leaks or any form of flaws in fact. Couldn’t be happier. 🙌🏼😊 As for the airbags I imagine they would def interfere in some form, would be a massive call to say they don’t, but I’ve also got the TLR roof basket and a fridge etc all in there too so mines basically useless lol.
