Step by step guide on using soap dough and cake decorating tools to create cold process soap Roses

Today's video invloves the use of soap dough. I love working with soap dough and creating embeds for the tops of our soaps and today I am showing you how we create a large English Rose. These Roses really make an impact in the top of soap loaves and look absolutely stunning. Make them in a range of different colours or stick to one or two complimentary colours - the choice is yours!
I will take you step by step through our process and will begin by showing you all the diferent equipment that you will need if you wish to try and recreate these at home. We will be using cake decorating tools and cutters to create our flowers and the techniques used are very similar to creating sugarpaste flowers.
At the end of the video we will show you how we have used our Roses to decorate one of our soaps.
The soap dough is our regular soap recipe but with air excluded as it saponified. We do have a seperate video detailing how we make our soap dough if you wish to learn more about creating soap dough.
