Thanks Gosia. Never had a better student (if I may say). You were one of the fastest and rightest learners I ever met.

My car is equipped with central difflock. I have been told to drive at 4H with central difflock engaged completely during the 3 hour desert drive.. I want to know will it damage my SUV? OR I should simply drive it at 4H?

That's perfectly fine in sand. You will feel a huge difference with locked vs unlocked diff. Locking central diff will divide the power 50:50 to front and back. This is exactly what happen in Jeep's when you shift from 2WD to 4WD. But don't drive with locked diff on road. I've created a video for that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gn67YWh4mbKJfMU

I always carry spare valves but screwing on the dust cap should keep the tyre at the right pressure long enough to get out the desert. Alternatively, the spare tyre has an extra valve 😁

Thanks Anton for both the options. Keeping cool and looking for solutions is always helpful.
