@simoncushing1048 Cheers Simon, aporeciate that. I was thinking about doing the cost on this video but decided not to BUT I may do a video chatting about prices, cheaper more expensive alternatives etc. Might put the feelers out on that topic.

Truly a beautiful setup… loving that mojo wood with its shape and caves; I d try to recreate one like this, with leas dragon stones but more swimming space and the java fern really beautiful in it;

Thank you so much. Mojo wood has loads of details. I've did something similar a few years back with dragon stone and small creeping branches. Here's the link if you fancy checking it out... kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZ2TiHmXYrmljqs

@@GEORDIESCAPER I watched your videos last night; couldn’t sleep, was a welcome distraction and beautiful to watch. I love to aquascape from time to time with whatever I have accumulated over the years in seuryu/dragon stones, woods and sands etc; few nano tanks I do my own Aqua-Ukiyo-é style scaping with; Ukiyo-é is the Japanese art of painting landscapes and dancing women or daily practices; sensual romantic movements in them and I inspire myself by creating aquatic beauty while listening to traditional Japanese music from Edo era etc; never used Mojo wood, but now I am very keen on finding them in my area .. would love to buy a new 6,7G cube and Mojo wood in it ..

@@GEORDIESCAPERps: I’m in love with certain shapes of woods like this one, myself never plant my substrate/sand but only use epiphytes and given my style, I keep it to a bare romantic minimalist aesthetic with plants and such; I see music and dance moves in these materials and spend days / hours listening and learning and changing until am getting the ultimate zen moment in my head and then I scape .. no Beta fish ever; just Gourami and few shrimps, or cpo, 3% light and I use purigen in teafilter bags inside my hang-on back filters, also add different sorts of leaves (pieces) inside the filter instead of throwing them into the tank; beneficial for fish/plants; also use Ada products mostly; love their sand .. use Black Wood in your next tank

Thank you, very much appreciated. Amazing hobby you have there with the Japanese painting. I'm really into Japanese culture. Do you have a links for any of your work/art? I would love to have a look. Understand if it's for your own personal pleasure that's understandable.

Yeah I get excited over stone, wood, sands etc. Friends not into the hobby think I'm crazy. Really appreciate these kind of comments. You're obviously very passionate about all you do👍

Would have used only the wood . By filling the gaps with dragon stone you loose the beauty and structure of the wood a bit.

I would like to know some more details about the aquarium maintenance since from the day one. Are you using the co2? Which light you are using and timing! Which Fertilizer u have used?

Glad you asked for information like that as that's the way my videos are planned. First video is the build and the following week is a closer look at equipment, dosing etc. Videos are uploaded 6pm UK time every Sunday.

I forgot to mention in the video about adding a large stone on top for a week or so until the wood was soaked. You can see it in the video just after it's filled.
