It's not often modern UK caravans actually command my attention but this one from Bailey really has. The attention to detail and practicalities of the layout are pretty impressive . The presenter here really has sold this to me ( a caravan that actually looks sexy and desirable) i need to go to my dealer and have a look for myself. Great video Clare.

About time for a king size bed, worktop infills for sink and hob and Wi-Fi! Fantastic. The only other thing I wish they’d change is the hob to 3 rings. This would give more space to fit a larger frying pan on. It’s nearly impossible to use all 4 at once anyway.

We checked out this caravan out at the NEC a couple of weeks ago , we would agree with the review it is beautiful inside, particularly the lounge seating probably the most comfortable we have sat in. There is a but, the bedroom was a disappointment though when the bed is in night mode it is very difficult to gain access around it. We also looked at the twin axle model thinking that would give more room around the bed, wrong hardly any difference . Perhaps it's just us but spending 40k on a van you want it perfect and the bed let's this van down.

We also looked at the Cabrera at the NEC and were disappointed at the lack of room in the bedroom when the bed was extended fully. Indeed, it felt cramped in comparison with other caravans of a similar layout but different make, eg Eldiss 550. Whilst the “hype “ around the series V had been loud, the reality was not so good in our opinion.

We have a 2020 porto and there is plenty of space around the bed when pulled out and I'm 6ft3. I think they changed the Alicanto range for the sake of it and although I would be in the market to change, I would not change to this. Plus its 7k more than 2 years ago.

Overall a nice looking and equipped van. Caravans manufacturers though may need to consider the price points, they are starting to become as expensive as motor homes or some statics. Some points:- Where are the flyscreens that also double up as additional privacy? i would prefer you add them back in. The lady said wifi is free, it is not , you still have to pay for the data or are Bailey now paying that! I believe the microwave does not have a dish anymore ? The outside table under the bed , and at the back of the caravan. Being under the bed eats away at valuable storage for larger items aka chairs and such like. Not good design.

I agree about the table location and also, why do they have to make the table out of worktop? It makes it a lot heavier than it needs to be.

The bedroom looks stunning. The addition of a king size bed will be a deal breaker for many people. I'm over 6' and in my two tourers the bed was not great for two sleepers. Whoever designed the narrowing wardrobes top to bottom to allow for a larger bed is to be highly commended.

The small part curtains and nets look naff, obviously didn’t want to copy Swift panel boards but this element for the cara cost is lazy, cheap and nasty.

I agree Brian, I have bought two brand new Bailey Caravans within the last four years, a Unicorn and then an Alicanto Grande. Both sadly lack attention to detail and quality control. It is getting worse. Come on Bailey get some 'Craftsmen' back!

Grey, grey, grey. Cold and dull colours. Why is there this fixation with monochrome upholstery and fittings. I have a 16 year old Bailey Senator which has a warm and inviting interior and which I wouldn’t think of changing for something like this, and we are looking at changing for a new or newer van. We’d end up getting rid of the dull grey and charcoal cushions and replacing them with something in a warmer colour, so it wouldn’t be worth it. I know it’s down to personal taste, and it could be said that the modern tech is worth it, but not for us. It’s just a pity that there isn’t a choice of upholstery and some interior fixtures and fittings, especially since the charge so much for new caravans anyway. Saying all that, I do like the layout, but looking at other comments a lack of space around the bed would be an annoyance. Thanks for the video 👍
